I have a date!!

It's taken 2 years and lots of stress but I finally have a date!! My surgery is scheduled for August 26th. I'm so excited!! I fought with my insurance for a bit but decided that they weren't gonna tell me I couldn't have this so I'm using my life savings to save my life! At least it's a tax write-off, haha! I'm so glad i found this site and all the wonderful friends i will make here!

Congratulations!!! I too decided to not fight anymore and I am paying for RNY on 8/25. It really is a shame that insurance companies can say NO when the alternative costs of all our other problems will cost far more in the long run. ONward and upward. Linda
