Congrats!!!! I am so glad you are doing so well. I was doing much better after the first week to. I had to stay in the hospital an extra day because I too had a bad blatter. but with me it was that I was three pints low... so had to get new blood for the new body.
Btw could you give me some info on living in hudson. I currently live near ocala and Me and my family are thinking of buy down in the hudson beach area. How is it there

I am looking for a good lap band support group in the Dallas area. I am 19 month post-op and have lost 85 pounds thus far . I am at a stand still and need support to get to goal . Please help .

You will feel better ever day that passes. I had Gastric Bypass on 05-31-2007 and after 2wk I felt better. I thought I could go grocerey shopping by myself boy was I wrong. I pushed the shopping cart and I was paying the price that night I had alot of pain like if I just had surgery. So I recommend you take it slow. It took my about 5 days to feel better. Its almost been 3 months since my surgery I had lost 50 pounds and loving it. Good Luck on your weight lost.

HI,
I HAD MY LAP-RNY ON AUGUST 15TH. DOING GREAT, BUT WAS WONDERING WHEN THE SWELLING WENT DOWN IN THE TUMMY AFTER SURGERY. I THINK IT FEELS BIGGER THAN WHAT IT WAS ORIGINALLY. PLEASE HELP!! I'VE LOST 20 LBS SO FAR BUT REALLY CAN'T SEE WHERE CAUSE MY TUMMY FEELS HUGE.
