Topic: RE: Ticker
Here is the OH tutorial http://obesityhelp.com/content/howtoaddaticker.html
You go to a site like tickerfactory.com and create a ticker. They will show you a picture of what you have created. Copy (Ctrl C or right click copy) the actual picture of the ticker (not the html code) directly from tickerfactory and come back to this site and paste (Ctrl V or right click paste) it in the section under User Settings (left side of the screen, above the ads) and it will appear as a signature be sure to click on "enable signature" and save.
Hope this helps,

Topic: Waiting on approval!!
I'm getting very nervous about my insurance approval when this journey first started I didn't have insurance and decided to go and get bcbs and my insurance picked up on the 20th so as soon as the card came in I faxed it to Barix clinic. They called and said I need my PCP to write a letter of supervised diets I haven't been to the doctor in years. So my PCP wrote a note letting them know if I don't have this surgery it will be more costly!! They called today to let me know they faxed the letter to barix and now I'm gonna play the waiting game. How long does the approval take? And what are my chances of getting an approval without having supervised diets? Any bit of info would be helpful!! Thank you!
Topic: Had my lap band surgery on 8/16/07!
Hello! My name is Jennifer! I live in the Tampa area. I had my surgery on 8/16/07. While the surgeon was doing the lap band he also found a 6 inch hiatal herna that he repaired. I am thankful that he went in to repair it. My Dr. is wonderful. It has been almost 2 weeks and I am in still in alot of pain. But I am so hungry. The Dr. said only liguids at room temperature and cream of wheat and protein shakes. I want real food. Will it mess me up if I eat any solid foods now. I am afraid to try anything but really hungry. I don't want to mess up my band. I go back to the Dr. on the 16th of September for my first adjustment. Just looking for some help please!

Thursann, congratulations on the beginning of your new journey! I grew up in Barbourville (Knox Central--class of '68) and my wife had R & Y 6 1/2 years ago.
She would be more than happy to share her experience and "tricks of the trade" with you via email and/or phone even though we live in Texas---a long way from Cumberland Falls. Here's the link to her profile: Go U.K.!
