I was on clear liquids for the first 5 days. Then I was supposed to add in skim milk and I could have a medicine cup full of sf pudding, yogurt or cream of rice cereal. I go today for my post-op visit and I'll find out more of what's to come. I know I begin with my protein shakes and vitamins today. It is truly amazing how there is no set regimen in place after this surgery. I guess each dr has their reasons.

see me because they say my Aetna PPO, states that "Bariatic Surgery is not a coverd surgery". At LifeWeigh they say I cannot even appeal that type of info and at my currenct place ( Riverside Medical Ctr) she said she is "appealing", well, since last February that is.. So, what is your take on this ? They said to call my HR guy and have them put a rider on the insurance policy. Has anyone heard of this ? My company is a small company and if it can be done, I would think they would, plus my mom manages the business and can make changes like that. Are the riders really expensive? And why would one bariatric place say they can work on it ( that may be why im still waiting is that they really don't know what their doing) and this one know before I even come in for a appointment ? Any insight anyone ?

Hi Trish I will be a week out on Wednesday and Ialso have not felt all that great, nor am I hungry at all. I have been running a fever for two days and I did call Dr. W. however I hate calling and complaining him. The only thing that really tastes good to me right now is the Blue Bunny yogurt and that is high in sugar. I find when I am feeling down I come to this site and I post about how I feel and look at some good success stories and know I will feel that way soon. I go and see him today and will be anxious to get on the scale. I had my husband hide ours. Try and smile if you are a believer say a quick prayer and I will do the same for you! Michelle

I'm with you, no one knew my weight till I joined this site. Now I feel as if I'm telling the world. Oh well, not like people couldn't have guess I was more than "big boned".
