Topic: First visit 2 weeks post op
Hello everyone. Just wanted to drop a line about my first visit. My hospital stay was a little longer so my visit is at 2 weeks. I am so excited and so please with my visit. First I give the glory to God. He is indeed the head of my life. I am down 20 lbs since my surgery which was August 23, 2007. I am a newbie in training so I still need to learn how to put the tracker on here. I lost 20 lbs on my pre op diet and 20 post op 2 weeks. God is good. To all of you..Stay Blessed!

Topic: RE: Signs of dehidration
Im not giving Medical advice, I just looked this up on the internet and thought you could have some sort of guide, your best source though would be to call your surgeon or go ahead to the ER and be checked out I wouldn't wait around but that is just my opinion. Hope you feel better soon. Here is the address about dehydration (symptons): http://www.revolutionhealth.com/conditions/first-aid-safety/first-aid-treatment/dehydratio n/signs-dehydration?msc=S49558

Tammy, I totally agree w/you! I read what people are eating and think, wow, that is different from what I have been told. I am sure they have their reasons for their preferred diets. Mine was 3 weeks total liquid(including yogurt,SF pudding and jello, hard boiled eggs w/ low fat mayo, protein drinks w/low sugar. and weight loss oatmeal=1/2pckg, and low carb yogurt),then Mushies for 2 weeks then intro. new food.

I just found this section tonight! Pre-op loss=11 lbs. Surgery (lap band) 8/16 Post-op loss=26 lbs. Total loss=37 lbs. Haven't lost this much weight since I was on phen-phen years ago for a month before the FDA said it could damage your heart. (luckily I escaped that damage!)
