Is anyone else having trouble with the last 15 pounds? I'm stuck at 125 and just can't seem to get it off and I'm so frustrated! I'm exercising, sticking to 600-900 calories a day and trying to mix it up so my metabolism won't get stuck. I want to be at goal when I see my doctor for my year check-up at the end of August, but I just have been literally stuck for almost four weeks. HELP!

Hello, I am stuck with 20 lbs that wont budge, so I understand your frustrations!!!! I have relied heavily on the ladies here when I almost started back the "other " way (gaining). I am beyond frustrated. All my weight was lost within the first 12 weeks of surgery, then pretty much nothing after. I had a stricture fixed and I think that may be part of the problem, as people on here state how much less than me they are able to eat. I exercise, and don't eat carbs, or drink with my meals. But I don't follow the protein first rule and I should, do you? You know, you look stunningly beautiful, and I cannot tell by your page what your height is, but that weight number seems really low to me? Are you happy? are you healthy?

Hi! I too, was thinking your goal weight seems rather low. Do you plan on having the skin removed as well? That would put you underweight, which can be as dangerous as being overweight. I am 5'1", and my ideal weight is 132. I weigh that now, and was told by my Dr. to get up to 140-145, because after my TT, I will be below weight. Did your Dr. set this weight for you, or are you setting it? Just be really careful.

Hi - I'm 50 years old and 5' 2-1/2. I was supposed to get down to 110 to guard against rebound so I would end up around 120 when I finish, but I'm having a really hard time. I'm really, really, small-framed and they did set the weight goal for me. I don't think it will be too low (I had a tummy tuck before my revision, so I don't have a panni to remove, so there's no hope of that helping). I eat, on a typical day, the following: Breakfast: one egg scrambled. Morning snack - One fit and light yogurt, low carb. Lunch - 3 ounces of cold boiled shrimp and 2 tbsp ****tail sauce. Mid-Afternoon - 3 ounces of cold boiled shrimp Dinner: either shrimp, salmon, or tuna - about 3 ounces Evening snack - sugar free fudgesicle and possibly a low cal hot chocolate. During the day - I try to get in all my water, hot tea, and sometimes a protein bullet. It's generally about 700-800 calories a day. I am finding I'm hungry quite a bit, but my weight loss has just stalled. I'm really discouraged.

Hello! Sorry to hear you are stuck. Try upping your calorie intake. Most people this far out are taking in 1200 calories. I am below goal and holding steady at 124lbs. I am 5'5 so anymore loss for me would not be good for me. When I was trying to reach goal and would stall I noticed if I had a nice yummy steak along with an up in my calorie intake I would drop like crazy. Oh, and if you are hungry, actually, truly hungry, then eat. Starving your body will add weight or make you stop losing. Good luck and I hope you reach your goal!!
