Swiss Steak One of my favorite combinations is beef with tomatoes. For a couple of reason the tomato acid breaks down the beef which help to make it tender, but the flavor is the perfect combination. I have an easy recipe which I like to do at home and my wife and kids love it. 1 pound cubed steak 2 cans Ro Tel tomatoes (this is the brand name but if you don't have its diced tomatoes with green chilies) 1 can crushed tomatoes 1 small onion sliced 1 green bell pepper 1 packet beef gravy mix Place all ingredients into your slow cooker (crock pot) on medium for at least 4 hours. I start mine in the morning and have it for dinner at night. This slow cooking process and the acid from the tomatoes breaks down the beef and it is mouth watering good. Here is another recipe that is to DIE FOR. We've made this one several times along with a vegie bake that I'll see if I can find. It's very filling and satisfying. The first time we made this recipe I felt like I was eating like a queen! Enjoy! Brenda

Hi Brenda. I know I haven't been on here for awhile and have been very busy living my new and improved life. I have my surgriversary on the 8th of this month and can't believe the difference a year makes. I never could have imagined that my life could be this unbelievably beautiful like it is today.
