WOW Moment

My son came home from college and didn't recognize me when I went to meet him! The last time he saw me was Thanksgiving '07. I couldn't help but feel proud of myself for what I have accomplished with the help of this surgery. We spent the holiday weekend with a half-dozen friends who haven't seen me since this same time last year.....I got rave reviews! This is sooooo much fun!

Awesome! That is such a wow moment for anyone -- Congratulations. You should be very proud of yourself and enjoy every last one of those rave reviews - and those still to come! It took a lot of hard work and commitment to get to this point and you deserve to enjoy every single wow moment. Thanks for sharing - it was a great way to start my day.

Woweeeeeeee!! Your own son didn't recognize you! LOL! It's sooooo amazing to see the reactions of those we've known for years and those we haven't seen for awhile isn't it? Donna, your wow moment has inspired me to keep on keepin' on with this new lifestyle! It's soooooo worth it! I'm so proud of AND for you that you have come so far and are still on the move...WAYYYYY TOOOOO GOOOOO!! Each one of the wow moments everyone shares on here brings me to tears ....but for once, doesn't it feel GREAT to be brought to tears in a happy way because of our weight? Oh my gosh I never thought I'd ever see the day when I'd cry happy tears over my weight!
