BODY LIFT...(tummy and legs!) NEED ADVISE
Hi! I am really really close to my goal weight the Doc set for me. I go see him next week. I am pretty sure he will want to go ahead with tummy tuck/legs and booty. I have four kids ages 22 down to 4. The 10 yr. old and 4 yr. old live with me. After I have the procedure, how much help will I need? My hubby is deployed...should I try to get him back to help on Emergency Leave? I am really clueless as to how much pain I will be in, what help I will need. Any advise would be so greatly appreciated!! Thanks
I think there is a plastics board. Considering our surgery date I doubt most of us are there yet, but getting close.
Congrats!
Maybe check your state board? I've been following the progress of someone on the SC board and I have to say I'm scared about PS at this point.
But then I think...............I can't find a single pair of jeans that fit. Everything gives me muffin top. LOL.
I want to wear jeans. I want to wear sleevless dresses and shirts.
Is there such a thing as a sleeved evening gown? Yes, for little old ladies!
I know if I ever want to wear fitted clothes I'll have to have a tt but so far it looks pretty gruesome.
I will say the girl I was tracking was back to work in about 2 weeks which blew my mind because it seems much more extensive than RNY!
Maybe it was horrible b/c she did so much so soon? I think if I have it done I am going to plan for at least three weeks out and spend them in bed!
Hi and thanks so much for responding. My hubby is in the Army and deployed right now. He is going to be retiring soon, when he gets back, so I am trying hard to get as much done surgically while we still have all the free medical care. I am not sure how it goes when he retires. The Dr. told me last time if I hit 145 he will remove all this skin around March or April. Well, that time frame is here and I am at about 149 on a good day lol. But I am so scared to get it done now, since I am basically a single Mom with a 4 and 9 year old. I know they will let my hubby come for max 30 days, but I cannot be immobile with two kids you know? It is scary. I also definitely do not want to be walking around for the rest of my life with all of this jiggly stuff either. I will not be able to afford say a 20% coshare to do it after he retires either. So, I guess it is a toss up. I am going to just be straight up with my Doc and let him decide what he thinks is best. Thanks so much for the reply and please, write me back and tell me what you think.
