Today is My 6 month Surgiversary
It's hard to belive its been 6 months!
Last week I had my check up and blood work done, my Iron is low, they want me to get Infusions to bring it up. But I not sure thats the way I want to go, I'm thinking I'll try some kind on suplement first...
Any way at the Doctors office my weight was 247, they weigh without shoes... Today at CURVES I was 249, this is the weight I go by since its the scale I use the most..... Just being under 250 is a wonderful filling, I am very happy to be able to exercise, its coming along slowly since my knee surgery in December, still alittle stiff but I'm hopfull...
So I have lost a total of 92lbs and 82 since surgery... and lost a total of 53.75 Inches.. I hurt my arm patting my back, GREAT JOB!! LOL.
Now my next goal is to be under 200...
Take Care All My August Losser family and friends..
Happy Surgiversary Edna! You are doing fantastic and before you know it you will be in ONEderland! I find it interesting that almost all of us who had surgery in August have lost right about the same amount of weight, no matter what weight we were to start with. I'm almost to goal and I've lost 93 pounds and from what I'm reading most everyone is right about the same.

Thanks Marianne,
Wow your doing great, I wish I could say I was almost to goal, nut I am very HAPPY.
I know it's just going to take alittle time, but we know how that flyes...
So how does it fill to be a thin person??? does that sound wierd?? I just cant remember how it fills, and wonder if Im always going to think Im the BIG girl..
I dont know that I really ever thought I was Fat, even though I was, am..LOL..
Just thinking out loud.. I'm not really crazy, just filling alittle silly..
Take Care, and Thanks Again.. Keep up the good work, were on our way..
Edna
You are sooo right Edna... before you know it you will be in ONEderland and then whooosh the time will go and you will be to goal. And it happens so fast that WHOOOSH you are thin! It seems like it's happened like that for me. Like I went to bed and woke up thin. Even though you have a little longer wait you are so on your way and the time will go by so fast you will see what I mean. You'll look back on the time just before surgery and it will seem like no time at all. A year is really a short period of time... especially when you look back. And especially with so much excitement of losing weight and changing sizes and concentrating on changing our eating and exercising habits. So how does it feel to be thin? One of the things I am enjoying most is feeling normal. Being thin makes it so much easier to dress... even if it's throwing on a pair of sweats... I feel normal in them.... not fat and ugly and a spectacle. Being fat... you feel out of place... (at least I did) feeling thin... just allows me to be more like normal people. Does that make any sense?
