Just wanted to know if there is a difference in taking chewable vitamins rather than regular. After surgery i started with chewable vitamins but i am able to take down regular vit except for Calcium, too big. I am not sure if i should stick with chewables? Hope I made sense.

I think as long as you're getting all the right ammts of each vitamin in it doesn't make any difference...I went from chewables to pills and saw no difference in the labs between the two... But, if it really worries you, I'm sure your NUT will tell you if you need to switch...how has your bloodwork been? xxxBecca

cool...the labs will tell you if the vits you're taking are keeping you balanced! Be sure to let us know how it goes! xxxBecca

I'm due for my 6th month surgeon's review on Feb 7th. As far as I know I have no problems from the chewables (Children's Flintstones, 3 each day). I'll let you know if they find any deficincies next month. Hope this helps somewhat. Bill M, Indpls, IN
