A Hello, Hair Loss, & Clothing....

Brandi, I know, it is horrible. Everytime I wash my hair I get gobs out. I cannot believe how unsupportive my family has been, its like...."Well, it will grow back", but for hair to grow back it takes almost a year to get to any length. Sheesh. Not like I want to throw a pity party either, just throw me a bone of sympathy here..lol

My hair is VERY fine and thin to begin with. I started losing my hair in Novemeber. It slows down for a few days and then picks back up. My hairdresser says she sees new growth but I dont. As a matter of fact I had a woman who is jealous of my weight loss post a blog online about me, One of the comments she made was "it won't matter how much weight she loses it won't put any more hair on top of her bald head." It really hurts because I am afraid she is right. I have lost 74 pounds. I have went from a size 22/24 pants to 12/14. I am now able to wear L/XL tops from 26/28. I am pleased with my progress but because of this crazy woman I just don't like to talk about my weight loss. I thought it is something I should be able to be proud of but I guess its just something I will keep to myself and only share here.

I'm so sorry there are people out there like that woman!! Teena, you need to be openly proud of your weight loss! She's the one with the problem, not you. Please don't let her have that kind of power over you. She hasn't had the courage to face her problem(s) head on and is putting you down to make herself feel better. And chances are, it isn't working for her anyway! You've done GREAT with your weight loss and I think you should shout it from the rooftops!! We all should!! It isn't nice, but something I read on a t-shirt years ago comes to mind that fits this woman.....it goes like this: "I may be fat but your ugly, and I can go on a diet!" Like I said, it's not nice, but it fits. And just look! You did what you did to be healthier and thinner and much happier. What has SHE done for herself except to put you down? She's not worth your time. Whenever you're feeling down, come here!! We'll be your cheerleaders and tell you how fabulous you look!! ((((((((((Teena))))))))))) God bless!! Brenda

Hi everyone, well i think my hair loss is slowing down but i still am losing but not as much and you can notice. i do think some is growing back. i was geting scared because my hair is so thin now. i really do hope this stops soon. as for protein and calories. dont count. i just make sure i purchase foods with high protein, low surgar and salt. i also try to eat foods with low cal. have no idea of exact numbers. my struggles are eating on time. just eat a little here and there. so far not much probs with foods except for rice..i am exploring different foods. i really need to get back to exercise. i have been a funk and havent exercised in a month. i need to get my butt back in gear. well just wanted to share. have agreat week all.

i keep asking if my clothes look too loose on my and no one has said they did. i can't believe they havent fallen off yet.

First, on the hair...I've lost a ton...but I have all these little baby hairs growing in! Look closely at your scalp. On clothes....WOW....I fit into my first pair of regular size 14 pants. No more LB, Avenue or Catherines for me!!! On calories. Consistently at around 1000-1200 calories a day. Totally had a freak when Melissa F. posted on the main board that we should be around 600. I eat about 65 gm. a day. I drink an EAS Cafe Caramel protein shake almost every day....and have a Power Crunch bar....and then eat food for the rest of my calories.
