WHAT IS EVERY-ONE EATTING????
Thanks Jennifer, I havent had the tast for milk, for the last month. I dont know what Motopia milk is, where do you find it?
Do you make your own soup? or is caned. I seam to be able to eat soup! I make chicken, with veggies, and eat it for days!
I havent tryed the kashi, it's on my list, and the Greek yogurt too.
I also like the chai tea, I mix mine with my vanilla protein, almost every night.. Maybe I'll try the silk soy.
thanks for your input it really helps!
There isn't much I havent' tried with the exception of sugar. I just dont' eat much. For breakfast it's yogurt or oatmeal. (NUT says I need more protein for breakfast) for lunch I normally do a WW dinner or something along those lines. For dinner it just depends. MAny nights I dont' eat dinner. Last night it was chicken salad. I normall average about 600 calories a day. I have got to work on getting in more protein. Just wish I like protein drinks and bars more.
Let me start by saying I'm a slower loser compared to some of you guys. I had surg on 8/7 and I've lost 32lbs so far. But, I really only had 80 to lose total...so I'm ok. I'm hoping to reach goal by my 1 year anniversary.
As far as eating goes, I've been pretty lucky that I can tolerate just about everything I've tried. I haven't really tried anything with sugar, but I do eat carbs now and again (mostly whole wheat bread or crackers)
So...for breakfast I usually have a protein shake. Sometimes when I run out of milk and haven't made it to the grocery store, I'll have some deli meat and cheese rolled up and 1/2 a protein bullet at some point throughout the day.
Lunch varies between soup, Lean Cuisine or WW meal, grilled chicken snack wrap from McDonalds, subway, or a salad.
Dinner has been either shrimp burrito w/ low carb tortilla and a little bit of beans, or chicken/steak and veggies, soup, turkey and mashed cauliflower (kind of like mashed potatoes).
thanks Teena,
You, do need to get in your protein, I hope your taking your vitamins! Remember you dont want your hair to stat falling out.. I know I'm not hungery much, but I try not to skip a meal. There has a few times early on that I skipped lunch, and started filling weak. I'm not good at counting my calories, but I think I'm going to try and eat alittle more, and see it I san lose more.. I just dont know the secret, and want to lose, and be a sucsess.
Take care and try not to skip your dinner.. You need your protein and energy..

I eat 800-1000 calories a day. My protein is usually 60-80 grams and I typically drink 60 oz. of water in addition to other fluids (protein drink).
I posted some ideas for what I am eating. I'm amazed at how little some of you eat. I have wondered if I eat too much, but my NUT thought what I am doing is fine.
Breakfast - usually an EAS Cafe Caramel AdvantEdge RTD protein shake, sometimes a hard boiled egg or Kashi Go Lean Crunch with milk
Mid morning snack - 1 oz of nuts or Dannon LIght & Fit carb control yogurt or 1/2 cup Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal or tbsp of peanut butter
Lunch - tuna with Light Mayo or roasted chicken breast or Small Wendy's chili
mid-afternoon snack - 1/2 protein bar
Dinner - veggies with 2-3 oz of a meat like: chicken, shrimp, 1/2 hamburger pattie, meatball, fish
About 3 times a week I have a Starbucks Grande Iced Latte in place of a snack. I just add Splenda (and I get it with 2% milk)
I can't eat Deli meat yet. Scrambled eggs typically give me the foamies. I don't have problems with bread - maybe once a week I have a slice of whole wheat with tuna or at dinner. I probably have mashed potatoes once a week too. I don't eat crackers. I'm not doing any soups or puddings. I don't add protein powder to anything.
My weight loss has been good (not stellar). I've lost a little over 40 pounds in 10 weeks. I started out at 250. I've had two stalls: one from weeks 2-5 and another the past week.
I take 2 multi-vitamins, a B-12, 2 Omega 3-6-9, a B Complex, 2 B-2's, 2 Magnesium, 2 Calcium, one iron and a biotin. The key items are Bariatric Advantage, the rest I buy at vitacost.com.
So far, no complications except a few bouts of constipation (adding Magnesium before bed has helped!) No hair loss yet.
I have quite a variety of things I eat now so it's hard to list but some of the regular foods I eat are:
Dannon Carb Control Yogurt, Fish, Beef and Chicken Liver, dark meat chicken and turkey, ground beef, cheese, cottage cheese, Ricotta cheese, cantalope, honeydew melon, spinach, SF pudding made with Unjury protein powder, SF Jello made w/ Unjury protein powder, whole grain protein bread with fresh ground peanut butter, scrambled eggs with cheese, tuna and chicken salad made with reduced fat Hellmans mayo. I often make liver pate with left over chicken liver and have it on soy crisps.
I drink an Acheive One frapuccino drink every morning. YUMMMM.. tastes like Starbucks Frappuccinos. I also manage to get 2 more protein drinks in some time throughout the day in between my meals.
Most of my fluids are coming from my protein drinks but I also enjoy my water when I can, making sure I don't drink within 30 minutes of eating.
My vitamins are 2 Bariatric Advantage chewable mulit's, 3 Bariatric Advantage chewable caliums, 1 sublingual b-12, 1 biotin, and one Bariatric Advange 18 mg iron.
I am also a very slow loser. I have lost a total of 37 pounds since surgery on 8/14 and JUST today... finally arrived in ONEDERLAND! I have been losing about 2 -3 pounds a week but recently had a stall at exactly 200 pounds which lasted for 9 days.
My exercise. I walk every morning 2 1/2 miles, plus most evenings another 2 1/2 miles. I addition I do weight bearing exercises in our pool using the water barbells for resistance.
Hi, Marianne
