I had one of those days on Wednesday. I had a bite of scrambled eggs for breakfast and i did everything i could to keep it down. It felt horrible. Then i had a lunch and i was fine .. don't remember what i ate. Then dinner i just had a bite of chicken and fought to keep that down too.
This had never happened to me before and i hope it doesn't happen again.
I still have no idea why that even happened. I tried to think of something i had done to cause it but I don't think i did anything differently that would cause it.. anyway .. IDK.

It varies for me - at first the only real food I could eat was avocado. Now I am eating more and not nauseas as often, but when I am in losing mode (as opposed to stalling which I had been for the last 3 weeks) and making more ketones I am nauseas more often. I am back to losing and few foods are appetizing once again.
I am 9 weeks out and know exactly what you mean. At my last support group meeting they explained that you tastes change after the surgery. Something you loved before the surgery may taste horrible to you now, but in 2 months you may tolerate it again and somethings you never liked may become your favorite food. They also said you may eat something one day and be fine and the next day you may not be able to. No real reason was given, but they made it sound pretty normal. Chicken has always been rough for me because it is so stringy and you have to chew forever! I have only gotten sick once but had the feeling several times. My dietician told me to go by the 1-2-3 rule when trying new foods. #1-take a small bite and chew it well. #2-wait 10 minutes to see if it is going to be tolerated #3 take another bite and wait again. She also tells me to record food I can not tolerate so I can keep track and try them again later to see if anything has changed. Hope that helps.
