Anyone Starting to Notice?
OK, this room is way to quiet. Time for everyone to start talking.
I know our first 4-6 weeks was all about figuring out what we got ourselves into, but now it is time for us to start sharing.
So I'll get it going with a question.
By now we have lost on average around 25 - 45lbs. So, are people starting to notice even though you haven't?
Just the past few days at work people are telling me they can really see it. A couple of them even cornered me and told me it was time for me to buy some new pants since I kept having to pull them up. Either that or for me to use a binder clip to help. LOL
How about you guys?
My surgery was Aug. 17, and I have lost 52 lbs. (25 was lost prior to surgery on my own). I am in the next size down and the slacks are almost too big already. People are really noticing and giving me lots of compliments.....sure makes it all worth it, huh?
I completely cleaned out my closet and am getting rid of all the 3X clothes. A friend who has lost wt recently gave me a whole armload of tops in 2X and 1X and I can actually wear some of the 1X tops now. I just love it!

My surgery was on 8/15/07 and I have lost 39 lbs. Some of my friends said they can really see it in my face. I can tell I have lost though. I am loving that I am fitting into some of my old clothes and some of my many t-shirts and way to big. I'm still really tired a lot and just got over a horrible case of bronchitis so I am waiting to see when my energy will pick back up. I was so excited about my new skinny face I went out and got a skinny face haircut lol.
I had my surgery on August 6th. I have lost almost 60 lbs including the weight that I had lost prior to surgery. All of my friends have noticed a great change (especially in my face), and my co-workers have noticed as well (although the men seem reluctant to say anything about it; maybe they think I will be offended for some strange reason ). I have gone from a size 28 to a size 22/24, adn I have had to clean out most of my closet. I am just loving it all!
Well, my surgery was Aug 6th and have lost almost 60 pounds. I have hit a plateau. I'm at a weight I was at for a year before I had my daughter. I expect to be here for a little bit. My pants are way too big in the waist, but according to everyone I have a "nice, curvacious booty" now. I am still ahead of schedule. I can't eat a lot of what I was told to eat. It makes me sick. So I eat what stays down. Although through out the day I consume a total of about 200 calories. Sometimes 500 if I have bottomless pit syndrome. I eat about 7 bites at each meal. I have finally learned about how much to put on my plate. I had to buy new underwear a couple of weeks ago. In my pants my underwear would fall down around the pelvic bone. I have gone from a size 24W to a 16W or 18 misses. The pants all are a little baggy around the thighs and big in the waist, but accentuate my booty nicely. I lost weight in my legs and have a defined booty. I was excited about this.
