O N E MONTH OUT
Hi Donna, to tell you the truth, I havent been hungery, so i have to make myself eat..
scrambled eggs w/ milk, do ok, cottage cheese is my best friend right now, I eat yogurt, about 3 times a week. in the morning I usualy have cream of wheat. Lunch the yogurt or cottage cheese, or a string cheese.. Dinner is hard, any meat item has to be real juice and tender or forget it. I had the foamies two times this week, after just two bites, not a good filling. I found Wendys chilly to be another friend..
Most of all I drink at less 2 protein drinks and 64 oz of water, and my vitamins.
oh yah, cant forget to go to curves 3 times a week.. It is an everyday chalange, but Im very happy, and blessed to be one of the lucky ones that had insurance that covered most of the cost.
So yes Im still on soft foods, and thats ok.. I just want to heal and maybe one day be able to eat a cheese burger lol ha ha... take care now and lets keep in touch...

I am very proud of you Edna, good job, I am exactly where you are w/ the food, anything to avoid foamies I do, that is the worst feeling in the world, or if you eat too fast, ift feels like someone is stepping on your chest!!! I never imagined it would hurt some much, but I take deep breaths, and hit my chest and it usually passes...but darn it hurts, so I learn quick what to eat and what not to eat....but like I keep saying, "Nothing tastes better than thin" and to me, I still know I made the right decision in my RNY decision...it has been a blessing!!! For Myself, as well as my family...Keep up the good work!!!!
