Surgery 1 wk from today for me!!

I'm having surgery on Wednesday, August 29th. I will find out the time tomorrow! Wooohooo!! Vicky

My surgery is on the 29th also, but it will be Friday before I find out the time, I already know its the first surgery of the morning. Good luck, will send prayers up for you Donna S

Vicky, I'm having surgery on the 29th also. I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 A.M. for surgery at 7:30. Best of luck to you. LaVonn

Vicky, Donna and LaVonn, I will be praying for all of you continually that your surgeries are successful and without complication. I had my surgery on August 2nd--three weeks ago today! I'm doing pretty good for the most part. I had almost NO pain. The most I had was soreness related to the incisions. I really felt no serious pain at all. I hope all three of you have pain-free surgeries also!! If I might throw out a little advice-- follow the post-op diet exactly and don't vary from it. It makes recuperation and the whole process sooooo much easier. I know you'll all do GREAT!! Praying for you all, God bless you! Brenda :-)

Hi LaVonn! I'm doing exceptionally well mentally and emotionally actually. I have had a few days where I wondered what the heck I did to my body, but that's normal. There will be those days. But when you consider the major change that takes place, I think some thoughts like that are bound to be normal. I have just focused on the final outcome and not so much the journey to get there. I'm soooo glad I did this! It's the fourth best decision I've ever made...just after marrying my husband and having my two sons. I'm also changing another aspect of my life this coming Monday. I'm 42 years old and going back to school! I'm sooooo excited to start!! I can't wait! I never ever dreamed I'd ever go back to school, but here I am! I want to major and degree in business management and/or accounting/bookkeeping so I may be in school for a few years! LOL! I know you'll do GREAT with your surgery and your journey to WL success!
