what if my primary care dr. will not give a clearance and not because he/she doesn't think I'm healthy but because they think that I have other options (which by the way I have failed). Please help

I found that as long as you can document that you've been obese for at least five years, and that you have attempted other weight loss plans, the insurance approval usually comes through. I went back into my old cancelled checks and found payments to Weigh****chers, I asked my doctor to fax over his notes about the times we've discussed my weight, and I even got old prescription refill information from the pharmacy that showed purchases of Meridia, and Phen/Phen. Even a gym membership, or a membership to Curves would help.
