Anyone Having Surgery on 8/27/07?

Just wanted to know who is having surgery on 8/27/07 out there? I am sooooo excited and yet scared!!!!!

I am having surgery on 8/27/07 too and am feeling the same way. Glad that the date is finally here but scared too.

8/27 is my day too. I can't wait...I am sooooo excited. I'm getting quite nervous as well. I haven't had a good nights sleep since I found out. What kind of things are you doing to prepare before the surgery. Are you eating well or enjoying all your favorite foods for the last time? Allison I am on a liquid diet on saturday and clear on sunday that's it. I am going grocery shopping and getting all of my paperwork for my time off in order. I hope for both of us much success on 8/27/07. Where is your surgery? I will keep in touch. Have a good Day!! Tammi

I am having surgery on 8/27 also! i did all my pre-op stuff today. Started a liquid protein diet on Monday 8/13. That's going OK. I am mostly nervous at this point. But, I am totally committed to dong this right and changing my life. My therapist says nervous id good. It means I realise how serious it is. Stay in touch, I would love to hear how you all do. Glad to have another one on board for the 27th. Hard to believe how quickly it's coming up. I'm as nervous as I am excited. My pre-op stuff is this Wednesday and then I'll find out more info on what I'll need to do before surgery. Keep in touch.
