I am doing ok as far as the surgery but I am very depressed. Any advice? I can't stop the crying and I don't know why.

Could be a reaction to the anesthesia, or just an adjustment period during this significant life change. Did you tell your doctor?

Hi, I am so sorry. I definitely felt the same way and nobodt talks about it. I think it is the anesthesia. Somebody told me that for every hour under anesthesia it takes a full month to feel yourself again. I also bet that it is the loss of the food but that too gets better. I am 2 weeks post -op and feeling much better. You might need meds. Good Luck! Claudia

My surg was 30 July and I am having the same problem! A soul mate! It is driving me crazy. I have days that am fine, but don't leave me with nothing to do cause I start getting depressed or whatever and can cry at the drop of a hat. I don't know about you but I started this prior to surgery and it has carried over. Maybe we can both get some advice from others about this and I will sympathize with you! Diane
