SLEEVE BYPASS, LIPOSCULTPUTE, NOSE JOB AND FACE DERMABRASION
I am scheduled to do an extensive surgery next Sunday in Tijuana with Dr Frank Alvarez and his associate Dr. Rios (leading bypass surgeon in the world). I live in Beverly Hills and their is NO shortage of Plastic Surgeons here and I've had liposuction 2 years ago with Dr. Alavarez in Tijuana with amazing results and excellent care. Not the same with Beverly Hills surgeons...trust me I've had a tummy tuck with Dr. Robert Gutstein in Beverly Hills (on Rodeo Dr) in which he and his staff left a 4X4 inch gauze pad in my stomach. Nevertheless, lets move on to my quest for more surgery and questions here forward.
Beacuse of my habits, genetics, and irregular diet, not to mention Im getting older, I do not know many or know much of the post-operative expectations of Sleeve Bypass including anticipated pain (if any), soreness, length on inability to lift items, run/walk, etc. The Dr. did give me detailed information and suggested that my health will not be effected and their should be NO pain.
When cutting half of your stomach and me personally having little or no tolerance for pain, I find that maybe MOST of his patients walk out without little to no pain but I am the polar opposite. So if any of you out there have a realistic or personal experience, I would LOVE to hear it!
Bottom Line, can someone tell me about their entire life experience with a sleeve bypass, what to expext post-surgery and if I should modify the amount of surgery I am slated to endure based on the sleeve bypass pain-general pos-toperative requirements if any. Also, wanted to know how much weight did you lose and how quickly?
Any information you can provide will be awarded a HUGE box of chocolates:), teddy bears and a big HUG from me when its all over! I promise.
Truly Yours,
Tanya Hallman
