Surgery Date - August 20th - Scared but Excited - Looking forward to LIFE after surgery!

I can relate with you - I have a date of August 15th and I have felt so very excited but nervous as well. I'm not afraid of the surgery, but I just can't quit thinking about the surgery and trying to remember everything, it's driving me nuts! I am not sleeping well and no matter how busy I try to keep myself, I always return to thinking about the surgery. I am very thankful to have this site so that I can at least read and talk with others going through the same thing. Good luck to you! Tanya

Don't be scared......I am almost 2 yrs post op from RNY. Best thing I ever did...no complications. See my post at kat 4872. I started at 231....I weigh 125 now. Life is good and it will be for you soon :)
