Surgery date August 22nd

My date is August 22nd. I CAN'T WAIT! The hardest thing besides getting insurance approval was to quit smoking. A requirement from my surgen. That is an every day battle. Goodluck to the rest of you!

hi kristy, yes the quitting smoking was hard to do for me too. gosh i am 46 and smoked since i was 16. but i knew i had too and my dr. put me on chantics and i quit within a month of taking them. they are wonderful. i have been quit 5 months now. at first i was so sad. i felt like someone died and like i lost my best friend. i said if when i go through surgery and i feel the loss of food will it be the same kind of feeling i had when i stopped smoking. i wish you luck and have you quit them yet? i am having surgery aug 6th. today i started my liver shrink . yuk.
