I feel like I'm racing against time...

I've been awarded a date contingent upon insurance approval. I've been going through agony trying to get everything coordinated and compiled before submission to my insurance company. ...Yesterday, the secretary @ the office of my surgeon phoned my insurance twice to make sure that GBP is covered. 2 different people (apparently they were new) told her that it was not covered. ...After much hyperventilation and frantic phone dialing, I managed to get ahold of a senior member of staff who confirmed that it most certainly was covered in my case. *sigh* ...I just want it over with.
