August 6th is my day

hello everyone. i will be having gbs august 6th. i am very excited and looking forward to getting all behind me a being on the losing side. cant wait to be able to go buy me new clothes. i have nothing to wear and have been putting off buying anything for awhile cause i know i will have clothes to wear once i shead about 40 lbs. see i had the lap band and lost about 50 lbs. so i gave and threw away all my bigger sizes because i just knew i would never be wearing fat clothes again. but i was wrong. my band got infected so they took it out. now its been almost a year past and i have gained weight back. leaving me now with slim pickins on the clothes. ill get there soon god willing. good luck to everyone who had had and are having weight lose surgery. i will be reading all your post and will keep in touch on my progress, and i know i will be needing everyones help on here. so thank you in advance.

Hi Lenna I am going for Lapband surgery. You are the first I have heard of who has had an infection. Scarey. What type of wls are you having now & where. I hope you were not too ill. Wish you all the best for your new surgery. Penny
