Hi Christina!
I too had surgery on the 28th. I am a slow looser but that is okay! I have lost 52 pounds so far...haven't weighed in two weeks, so hopefully it is a little more...hehe!
I am doing great. Working out three to four times a week and really feel more strong and balanced. I eat about 600-700 calories a day, getting in my protein but still struggle with the fluid. I have to take more iron supplements since my three month labs...but I have always had a low iron level.
Had my first dumping episode yesterday due to a smoothie at Smoothie King....high in protein but it came out with a vengence. I guess I should just stick to Unjury from now on!
Feel free to contact me! I check my email at least once a day!

Hey Christina! We had surgery the same day! How are you? I feel bad that I havent been online in a week or so, between work and Christmas shopping online, I never have the time.
How are you feeling? What are you eating? I still want NOTHING at all...was excited to find protein bars I liked but now they taste sweet to me and I simply dont want them.
Im beginning to "shed"....I always have lost hair...I mean days you wear a black shirt its really obvious...lol...its been that way my whole life but it seems to be much more lately....how bout you?

Yeah, I have it, hate it and feel for anyone else with it. I have been using Smooth Move Tea and it does seem to be helping. I get it at GNC and I have seen it in my grocery store. I tried flax seed in yogurt but I kept feeling like I had grit in my teeth. I must be doing ti wrong. Best to you, Annette

My sister is going great. She is shorter than I am 5'1 and started this surery at around 230. Today she is around 130 and a good wt for her height. She stays with the program and watches her carb intake..keeps calories at a reasonable rate. Too much alcohol and snacking is what ruins this surgery for most people. I will be watching the program rules for life, and if you have that mind set you will be fine...Sue.

Just curious. How is your sisiter doing? Did she reach goal and is it staying off? I am anxious about down the road a bit.
Thanks,

Hi Jan,
I also am almost 4 months out. I get about 500 calories a day and not all of it is pure protein. I have cheese and crackers with a cup of coffee in the AM. I have chicken noodle soup and a sugar free fruit cup and one low fat yogurt for lunch then at home in the evening i try to get in some kind of meat with my meal..I may not be getting 64 oz of protein..but this is all i can eat in one day...I am trying to up my fluids by diluting cranberry juice with water and ice...and sipping on that...you will keep losing I am sure of that..my sister had this surgery 2 yrs ago and(I can see how) you will reach your goal...keep up the good work, Sue.
