Hey Bekah...gosh arent you pretty...its nice to see our old faces again huh...
Wow Im sorry you have had so many issues....I had surgery 8/28 and havent had any...Ive only dumped once and had the "foamies" 3 times in 4 months so I am blessed.
My hair is thinning too....but scale sure isnt moving like yalls...
I started at 228 at surgery and am currently (well before I gained over the holidays for not eating enough)....at 176.....they call me a "light-weight" and say my loss is great so far and right on target but.............ugh....I wanna 89
Tell me how do you know if you have a sticture or need a dialtion? Im just curious what those symptoms are in case I ever have issues.
Great job on not smoking....man gotta run guys....ttyl (tonite)

Thanks for replying ladies...sounds like you guys are doing way better at being organized than I am............
I didnt eat well over the holidays and my scale is up 8 pounds...........it freaked me out so my resoluation is to eat enough food every day and EXERCISE...I have been slack on that lately...
do you guys get scared this is just a dream? I am able to eat lots more now and I fear that I am messing this up or something...then I have nightmares that I get big again and that this didnt work for me............its scary!
But today I went and bought 4 size 12 pants so ITS NOT A DREAM!
Happy New Year guys! I pray for your continued success....

Boy, I am so sorry to hear that you have such strictures and dilations.... good heavens, you have really gone through alot. I am so lucky to have not had any.. knock on wood.
I don't blame you for your fear of food after experienceing such a terrble first month. Your weightloss is wonderful! You are doing so well. I too have had good success. I have the hair loss problem, inthat I certainly have been noticing more hair on my brush and as I "run my hands through my hair" I drag out way more hairs than normal. I am so proud that you have not been smoking!
I bet if you start eating small bits of new things and give your new little pouch a chane to try these new foods out, then you will find some that will be safe to add to your menu! I enjoyed Beef and Barley soup, it seemed like such a splurge. I also tried chicken and dumplings, and that too was mushy good. I encourage you to chew.. that will be your control that the food that goes down is safe. Take good care.
Thinking of you... Happy New Year!

Topic: RE: 4 months out guys...What are you eating?
good question.... but since we all have different doctors and nutritionalist that have "ordered" our food intake to be of certian foods... it can become a bit confusing. But I am proud to say that what has gone in my mouth seems to be doing ok with my new little stomack, I have consistantly been loosing weight, and my blood work reflect I am doing great!
Now for my actual food....
Breakfast:
I eat an egg and toast or about 3/4 cup of cherrios with skim milk and a splenda
at that time I try to consume my calcium and vit. And I have been having tea, even though I am a coffee drinker, it has not tasted that good to me.
Lunch is my Dinner:
I have something around meat.. chicken, hamburger sometimes made in a cassarole, I might even cook up a healthy type tv dinner. I eat what ever is served and then pick at the meal for about 1/2 hour or until I am totally full. The rest of my calcuim and vit.
Supper:
I sometimes have left overs, but more than likely I have soup (lately I enjoy chicken noodle again) or a sandwich with meat and cheese. I had one slice of cheese pizza for Newe Years Eve.
Snacks during th day:
I have had a cup of popcorn, a cheese stick, protien bar or drink, yogart, sugarfree fudgecycle, and juice. And lots to drink - tea, water, coffee, sugarfree cocoa, sugar free cider, iced tea...etc
I probally intake about 800-1000 calories a day and about 80 grams of protien. If I go out I have something on the menu that I think sounds good, and eat a little bit of it and have the left overs for days!
thanks for asking!

Topic: RE: Updated Pics for Carrie - 4 mo's Post Op & Down Over 70lbs
Congrats Carrie!!! Super job!!!
Your pics look great! I LOVE your hair!!
I had my surgery on August 8, 2006 and I've lost 91 lbs so far.
I have 35 lbs to go to hit my goal weight of 140lbs.
Have you noticed the smaller you get the smaller amount you lose, you notice it more.
If that makes any sense. When I lose 5 lbs now I notice it more than I did after the surgery. I also noticed it's coming off at a slower rate now.

Happy new year to all of you.... Canyou believe it has gone by so quickly ?
I am grateful to be starting a new year.... 2007 is ours !!!
I am doing well. Down 73 pounds and bought XL scrubs yesterday instead of wearing 3x scrubs 6 months ago... This surgery is amazing... Hard work too, but so worth it.
Continued health and progress to you all in 2007 !!! Happy new year !
