Thanks for the blessings. I, like several others *****sponded, am on the 1st. I thought this date would never get here and now it seems to getting here too fast.

So we three will be big ole losers together 
.....I am so far beyond excited that I can hardly stand myself. I am going thru this process with 2 very dear friends, one is going on August 8th and the other is having surgery the same day as me! It is so nice to know that you guys are out there!

Topic: pre-op diet
My husband and I have to go on the liquid diet for seven days. It seems like it will be the hardest part to go thru. Does anyone have any suggestions on what they did to make it any easier? Thanks, Trish T

I had my final appointment today!
Saw the surgeon, went over the procedure, signed a million consent forms, took a written test and a tour of the hospital/floor/surgical suite.
Funny thing is - I had NO actual medical testing (it has all been done before, or will be done tuesday morning before surgery)
The part that hurt the most? 
paying my out of pocket expenses! 
But- everything is set and ready to go for Tuesday. By this time next week I will be HOME and a LOSER!!! ;

I am so excited! I have my pre-op testing on Wednesday, psychiatrist appointment on Thursday and the nutritionist appointment on Monday...whew! But I am ready!!!

WOW..Today makes it exactly one month to my re-birth!. August 28! I can hardly believe it sometimes..I have been on the surgery approval journey for two years now!
