Thanks Ramona, I read this this am and it made me smile and I needed that more than anything. They are open at 9am and I am sitting here with pins and needles. I have gone over a million answers and reasons for them to hang on to my date and not cancel me. It is strange cause I cant seem to focus on "Oh m I am going to have surgery in 2 days" since I just dont want to let myself down. But yesterday I did go to a Def Leppard and journey concert and it was a blast!!!! Brought back all of my80's hair rocker days again. I got all of my vitamins and a few protein drinks to try out and I cleaned up my room. I will wait to pac****il I know for sure. I also have to work 7p-7a tonight so that will make time go by faster as well. How is your day going???????I hope it is well and full of laughter lol

Healther - Add me to the list! August 11th is my date and I see there is another "Susie" on that date too! (Although I spell it "Suzy"). I love the idea of bringing a picture of my daughter - hadn't thought of that one. Thanks to the person who posted that! I picked up a night gown and a pair of PJs - I expect my last shopping foray at this size. Will bring slippers for walking. Toothbrush & toothpaste, hairbrush, glasses & contact lens stuff, lip balm, moisturizer, make-up (somehow doing up my face always makes me feel better), a book to read, and G-d knows how much else I will over pack and never use! Now - I have to sign-off so I can get in some exercise before work! Wishing you all an easy time, a speedy recovery and a lifetime of good health! Suzanne

August 1st and I am biting nails! I will pack today, I know last minute. I will get the call today on what time my surgery will be and then I cannot eat or drink anything for at least 12 hours, ughhhh cannot even chew gum which I have relied on since I quit smoking for this surgery. Angel

Hi Sherry! Looks like we're sharing the same surgery date! I went through the nerves when I was waiting for my original date last month. Everyone assured me that nervousness is natural. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and I'll meet you on the losing side!
