Yes, I am a twin. I have a twin sister, Felicia. Who is researching the surgery now. She is so funny she says she doesn't want us to look to different and when I asked her what she was talking about she said we would look like the number 10

. She has gone to her PCP to start a supervised 6 month weight loss plan, step 1. My family is 100% behind me

They are alittle scared

but they want me to be happy

Thank you for thinking about us!!!!! I am not home yet and stillin the hospital. I have a drain JP and am supposed to get out tomorrow if I can go to the bathroom as my bladder is not coming back as wanted. The pain is almost nothing. I have been more nausea than anything and they gave me a patch for it. I was up and waking 4 hours after surgery. I feel great except I want to go home and I need to pee. I will update more later but to all of those who aregetting ready for this it is wonderful!!!!!!! You are all in my thoughts... Tanya D

Topic: have a date, need support

you get so caught up in waiting for a date it's like it takes forever, and then when you get one, you get scared senseless . I hope, I can remeber to take care of those last minute things before sugery. can anyone relate or offer any words of encouragement?

Lap band for Aug. 10. Got the call today, gives me a week to panic and drink liquid clears. Glad to have a family. Any Colorado August people? Single Parents? I love this board.
