Can we take gel caps?

I know we arn't allowed to take capsules but I can't find iron vitamins that arn't gel caps?

My surgeon says Yes we can....I take Juice Plus as my vitamin (recommended by my surgeon) its gel caps....and my iron is too...I think they disolve quicker than a non gelcap. I say YES

My doctor prescriped pre-natal with iron that come in a tablet form, they seem fine for me.
