Hey Christina! We had surgery the same day! How are you? I feel bad that I havent been online in a week or so, between work and Christmas shopping online, I never have the time. How are you feeling? What are you eating? I still want NOTHING at all...was excited to find protein bars I liked but now they taste sweet to me and I simply dont want them. Im beginning to "shed"....I always have lost hair...I mean days you wear a black shirt its really obvious...lol...its been that way my whole life but it seems to be much more lately....how bout you?

Hi Christina! I too had surgery on the 28th. I am a slow looser but that is okay! I have lost 52 pounds so far...haven't weighed in two weeks, so hopefully it is a little more...hehe! I am doing great. Working out three to four times a week and really feel more strong and balanced. I eat about 600-700 calories a day, getting in my protein but still struggle with the fluid. I have to take more iron supplements since my three month labs...but I have always had a low iron level. Had my first dumping episode yesterday due to a smoothie at Smoothie King....high in protein but it came out with a vengence. I guess I should just stick to Unjury from now on! Feel free to contact me! I check my email at least once a day! Traci

Hi Christina! I had my surgery just a few days before you on the 25th. I weighed the other day and I'm down 62 pounds. I'm always amazed at my weight loss because I've never loss more than 5-10 pounds on my own. This journey has really helped me a lot. So far I am able to eat pretty much anything meat wise. I've had chicken, fish, shrimp, pork chops, lamb chops and crab but I haven't tried steak yet. I try not to eat a lot of carbs, but I recently discovered that I can eat microwave popcorn with no problem I know it's bad so I try to not eat it much. I've been cleared to eat salad and raw veges, so I try to eat salad a couple of times a week and I LOVE cucumbers and steamed zuccin. I was going to the gym 4 times a week but I'm a foster parent and just received a brand new baby boy and the gym I go to doesn't provide childcare for babies that small. I think they have to be 1 and older. So I purchased some aerobic tapes (walk away the pounds) and an exercise ball and it looks like I'll be working out at home for a while! I hope you make lots of friends here. The people here are wonderful! I'm glad that I had this site to turn to! Good luck on your journey and feel free to drop me a line! Leah
