Stuck Food

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but I have had 2 bad experiences with food stuck the past 2 nights. I KNOW it is because I ate too fast. I had some thinly sliced deli turkey (maybe 2 ounces) and some tilipia (again 1-2 ounces) I had eaten the tilapia before and had been fine. (why I think I ate too fast) It was the WORST pain. I tried walking-nothing. I tried to drink water-immediately came back up. Then I looked online and read about hot tea. I made some as quick as I could and took a few sips. Thankfully, I was able to vomit my dinner both times. I felt MUCH better after that. I then had clear liquids for dinner later. Anyway, just wanted to give you the heads up. If anyone has food stuck and you would do anything to get it to go up or down, try a few sips of hot tea. Seems to do the trick. (also read a papaya enzyme from a health store works, but I have not gotten any yet!) Hope you all are adjusting well! What a ride~

That happened to me the other day. I tried walking too, that is what my surgeons office recommended. I ended up vomiting but not intentionally. Yesterday I was drinking water and drank too much too fast and I thought I was going to die, I was at work and it just came up. I could not breath, it came up just high enough to sit there. I kept trying to burp hoping it would go down and I brought up a bit of it and eventually it gradually went down. Note to self: eat and drink more slowly!

I am having a bit of a hard time eating. I mostly stick with refried beans. chili and cream of wheat with cheese. Those go down easily. I tried some tuna with a bit of light mayo today and I could only eat about 2 bites. Just did not go down right. I am doing at least 1 protein shake (if not more) every day. I am also drinking a lot. Foamies do not sound good. At least you had a vacation!?!?! Did you drink a lot of water on your trip? I have the hardest time on the weekend when I am out and about. Good luck this week!

Pam-I know the feeling of "super saliva" I call it when your mouth is really runny with saliva and there's that hard huge pain betwix "the girls". I have tried and hoped to upchuck it, but to no avail. I had eaten too quickly & didn't realize it until too late, of course. I tried "COKE ZERO" sip & then I got the HUGE pain more and then it went like "drano" all better. I am particularily scared about the chest pain issue since I had clogged on a blood clot
