Pain in the port site...

My lap band surgery was Aug 8th. I'm wondering if I should still be having pain in the port site? The incision healed without a problem. I'm just not sure if what I'm feeling is normal? Is it supposed to feel hard, sort of like a really big golf ball? I had my surgery in Mexico so it's not so easy to just go back to the Dr. where my procedure was done. Thanks for your help. Leisa

From what I've learned on the lapband site and my own (I'm only 11 days post op) limited experience, it sounds really normal. My incisions are almost all healed but I still have the hard lump where my port is. If I move or twist, it often hurts. I hear (read) that often on the lapband site. You are normal. (Are any of us REALLY normal)

im three weeks out and still sore there. im sure its normal. new substance n body. thing need to heal around site
