Home 6 days post-op

Well just wanted to let everyone know i am home and doing ok i have a little pain when i get up and down it feels like my stiches is pulling a little nothing taste good i looked and my tongue is raw since yesterday i dont know if it is cause of all the antiboics or what alot say it is normal i have a hard time getting in what i am suppose to have in i am walking so i guess that is good nothing else about this i have appointment on tues i hope i get staples out and get on preed food i am tired of liquids but there is nothing i can do about it well hope everyone is good ....Karen

Welcome home Karen! Congrats on your successful surgery. I had RNY on 8/16 and am feeling pretty good. Having the staples removed was great, less pulling on the skin goes a long way towards making your belly feel better. Try some sugarfree popsicles to soothe your tongue.You are well on your wayMaryG
