Topic: OH is coming to NYC!!
HEY!!!
I just got off the phone with Monica Ganz. I am looking to exhibit as a jewlery vendor at the OH regional conventions, and I asked if they were EVER coming to NY and she told me - NYC & another city upstate NY (I cant recall it for certain) AND she also told me
they will be in Tucscon 1/6 & 7 AND they will be at DISNEY in Anaheim 4/14 &15 next year!!.. IS THAT COOL OR WHAT!!!! I don't have the dates for NY - but I will sit down with her and go over the list when I see her at the KY show.. I am excited!!
SO for all of us that want to get together- I am SURE we can have fun and meet and do it at one of these events!!
EVERYONE HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!

Hi Joyce!
I don't recall seeing you so much on this board- but KUDOS to you and keep up the great work! I know how it is- we prob both stared with BMIs over 50 ( mine was 55.5) and now its 35%! I went from super to morbid to obese..LOL whoever thought I would be looking to be considered "overweight" ? you know? lol
But anyway- I just wanted to encourage you and I know its hard- cuzz Im tryng to get to 200 or UNDER by the end of the month and dont want to jinx myself..And anything after that will be gravy for me...so in the meantime I'm focused on my jewlery business and
that will be a great earning potential ..so I will have new clothes and jewelry and look good without breaking the bank.
ALSO*** Please send me your name, email, home address, so I can add you to our Xmas Card Exchange..we have have 2 lists- one for cards/ one for secret santa- that is Lori. If you wanna be on both lists- just email me and tell me. We have set a $20 & under limit for the santa bit.
Hope you have a great day- and continue being consistent with your exercise. If we all got paid to exercise we'd spend hours doing it right? *grin*

Hi Dawn- Actually- if this works the way I intend it- I am in an untapped market. Im looking to become a vendor at the convention- so I may be exhibiting at all events.
That's funny- I thought you and Lori were both west coast- right? Only she is north?
Tammy is in NY- but hours away from me- Its just that I thought this was a FUN event beause it was Halloween and I guess everyone has kids.My new business venture is my kid.. and I hope this kid grows up fast- ha ha ha .
You can view some of our stuff online: www.jewelsbyparklane.com , but I can send you catalogs if you like. The pictures don't do them justice, and take a look at the Xmas brochure- just for having a party- you can get a beautiful watch for free! I like that I can give some nice looking and inexpensive gifts, without breaking my budget. *grin*
Oh- and this company does its annual convention in February in Vegas and I will also be exhibiting in Vegas next April for my employer- so I will def be out that way and keep everyone posted- so we can get together.
Hugs

Topic: RE: Can some of you PLEASE give me an honest answer???
Hi I'm Happy,
I think the problem you're having is that I don't know of anyone who is actually counting calories post-op as part of a doctor's plan that has that idea at its core. I know I went back to my basic program of 3 meals a day - and only protein - with a minimum of 8 glasses of water. That was enough to drop 5 lbs in 4 days to bring me back to goal. Instead of counting calories - haven't we ALL done enough of that in our lives? - go back to the basics of your early post-op program. Follow it for at least 2 weeks to reset your internal clock. No snacking, no starches, no sweet drinks, etc. The nice thing about being a year post-op - all proteins are a go so it widens that avenue for ya. If you're eating 3 meals a day you shouldn't be able to overeat (the key is WHAT you're eating - 3 meals of cheesecake will sink ya )
Good luck!!

Hi Donna,
It's great to see you so excited about your new venture. Unfortunately, the meeting's on the wrong coast. I sometimes feel a little lonely here on the west coast on our group. I think most of us are east of the Mississippi.

Hi Tammy,
Life is going fine. I'm back below goal and I actually got into the gym yesterday, plus my usual 1.5 hour walk today. Work is work... busy as the quarter is coming to an end. I should have spent the evening grading tests, instead I spent it loading/updating my Palm data to Outlook. I'm still having liver enzyme issues and had blood drawn to fill 9 vials for another round of tests. Good to hear that the girls are doing well.
Nice to see folks on the site again...

Hi Tammy and everyone,
You guys all look great, and everyone sounds so happy. Amazing what losing all this weight can do for us eh?
I am doing well, the excersize thing for me has been hard lately(just too darn lazy)lol....I did start a twelve week(one night per week) water aerobics class this week.
I am down 115 pounds, I now weight 250 and I feel wonderful. I have about another 80 pounds to go, but it will come.
Have a great week-end all

You look great at your current weight. I'm shooting for about 160 as well.
I think I'm going to postpone my PS consult since I've started loosing again (cross my fingers). Who know having a hernia would be a good thing.
