Thank you for putting this together Lori! I have long hair so hair clips or hair scrunchies are always in high demand. I love anything with bassett hounds on it. I LOVE purses - I have tons, and I'm not picky about 'brands' and all that jazz, most of mine come from Wal Mart or eBay! I also like candles and candle melts. Connie

What fun! I am a quilter and love unusual and bright fabrics that I can add to my quilts (cotton please). My motto is "Whoever dies with the most material wins!" I live in Va Beach and love to go down to the beach to watch the dolphins swimming and jumping in the waves. Dolphin candles/ holders or little dolphin figurines are wonderful. I have always loved to bake and now that I don't do so much of that anymore, I have taken to liking wonderful smelling candles, especially those with holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas) scents. My husband and I scuba dive. I love the Caribbean and Jimmy Buffet. Thanks for suggesting this Lori! Eileen

Hi Donna, Sorry about the issues with your son, but GREAT job redirecting to the gym! One pound could be just about anything but a fat gain, so just keep it up. FYI - no exercise this week, but better on food - sorta - and I managed to lose 2 lbs so I'm content. Still maintaining in my window. I'm actually down south visiting family and friends for one of my step-nephew's wedding. Dawn

Hi All, Let's see... I like faeries, dragonflies, & frogs (but not cutesy). Pins and bracelets (the more noisy the better ) and gold earrings. I also like candles - vanilla & 'kitchen' spices (pumpkin, apple pie, cinnamon, etc.) smells. I love to quilt, read, & photograph so anything related to those areas, including magazines, etc. is great! Dawn

Topic: TGI Friday & THE GYM!!
HIYA!!! I was gonna post this earlie in the week r- but thought I'd give a chance to see how everyone DID and see if our planning was good- or fell apart- like mine. I count the week beginning with Sunday- so this week is 10/29-11/4..You still have time to get any exercise in- before weeks end. SO how did everyone do Diet wise / Exercise wise? AND I wanna hear from EVERYONE who signed into my first post- and if anyone wants to jump on- you are highly ENCOURAGED to do so..THAT MEANS U!! If you need . We will always struggle- but its easier when shared. Here's what happened to me: Sat Night my 21 yr old son, informed me,he has his ticket and is moving to Illinois, 11/7. We haven't been fighting- but its been stressful and I've been trying to redirect and refocus. He is moving there to live with a girl's family- long story short- he met her on the internet 3 yrs ago- they've been friends-he visited her twice(this summer included) they are both 21/22 and she is diabetic, doesn't work & HE is going there to begin working as an EMT. He has to be relicensed in that state..meanwhile he has like $300in his pocket..& all this before the holidays.. SO Needless to say- I have been trying to stick to my plan..Fluids, protein and I snuck in some chocolate and did not dump..although I did feel some elevated symptoms..I go back to my surgeon 12/7- for my final checkup and then every 3 mos after that..and I GAINED 1lb this week.. As for the GYM: I went Sunday 10/29, worked out 3 hrs. I did go last night- from 7:30 for 1.5hrs, and I will be hitting the gym tonight and sat/sunday.. I am trying to get back into a routine of showing up and not worrying so much what my workout will be- as I have been increasing my weights and focusing on my core- back/abs, hips & lower body. Im also going to up my protein intake again- and see where that leaves me. Anyone up for the increasing your protein challenge? WAKE UP!! Talking to you!! Everyone - have a great weekend!! Hugs, Donna 325/209/???

I'll go next: I love candles or anything that makes my house smell good! I also love anything San Miguel ( like wrougt iron candle holders, etc) Since losing weight, I love all jewelry. I am a breast cancer survivor, so anything pink is always good too! This is a good idea, I hope my secret person replys too so I can get some ideas!

Topic: Holiday Gift Exchange Guidlines
I have had some requests on the guidlines for the exchange. I suggested that the gift be $20 or less. Nothing fancy, just a little token of affection! Maybe something that represents where you live or something useful to us "losers". And yes, it is ok to let the person know who the gift came from. I would say that it should be sent around Christmastime. But if you want to send sooner, I am sure that would be ok too! I can't wait to go shopping! And I also can't wait to get my gift!!! One more thing I thought about doing is asking people to tell us a little something about themselves. This may help us in our quest to find the perfect gift! Maybe tell us if you are a collector, or there is something that you really need or want. Just helpful hints. I will start. I collect frogs. We ride a Harley. I am an avid sports fan. I love dangly earrings. This has become a passion of mine since losing weight. I reward myself with earrings!!! You should SEE my collection! Anyone else?? This is gonna be soooo cool!!! Lori

Topic: RE: You've got mail!
Hi Lori - THAT was the best email I got!! Im ROFL You made my day yesterday. My son is 21 and picking up and moving out next week. He met a girl on the internet 3 yrs ago, and they've corresoponded..He's visited her & her family twice- this past summer for 3 weeks, so my Holiday spirit is not what its been, and I really haven't handled being "single" at holiday time well, and now being alone..well its a good thing I have other things to focus on, but its always been hard on me..I'm glad I had the surgery, because the "old me" would gain 25lbs- not care and not be working out- with all the stress.. and even with the weight loss- I look in mirror and I had to squash thoughts that I'm unattractve and unloveable- because my body size is still large-208lbs. I thought I would be around 185/175 by now. Depression should be banned Thanks for your email.. Can't imagine what to get my secret santa Hugs, Donna

Thanks!! I have a few questions? Can you post the guidelines for the exchange? I can't remember what the $$$ amount was (I think it was $20 but not sure) and do we reveal ourself when we send the gift or do we remain anonymous?? Is there a set date we should have gifts out by or just go w/ before Christmas? Thanks again for doing this. KB
