42 fat cals burned
135 cals burned
10:00 mins Lateral Thigh Trainer
no idea on distance or calories burned, the readout isn't working on it.
Good job Tammy! I'm thinking about ordering the Chicometrics workout DVD some of the girls on the main board were talking about last year. You do an hour twice a week, but they all said they got great results. Then you also do cardio three days a week.

hey lori...
wow that's scary. i was going to also mention to get your potasium checked. My sister, the one her had her surgery this past August, ended up in the ER a couple weeks ago & overnight in the hospital getting potasium IV. her potasium was seriously low that she thought she was having a heart attack. apparently the dr said it's not uncommon after wls. i was surprised to hear that seeing i've never had my potasium checked post op. i'll be discussing at my next visit on 2/2. definately call your pcp & get it checked out. my sis says she was feeling weird for a few day (kinda like she was in la la land) before it happened. i'm not sure on the extent that anxiety has on our bodies post op, but you never know. seems our bodies deal with everything differently now.
keep us posted ok...... & make that call to your pcp
((((HUGS))))

Hi Lori,
This sounds like dehydration to me. Please go to your doctor. I got severly dehydrated about a year ago and it caused my potassium to get very low and I had to get IV potassium. The potassium pills are HUGE and the liquid tasted HORRIBLE!!! Its a horrible thing to go thru so I suggest seeing your doctor right away. Good luck to you!

Ok, I have to ask you all a serious question. First of all yes, I plan on going to the doctor about it.
Here's the deal:
On Saturday morning, I woke up feeling fine. Drank about 4 cups of coffee. Didn't eat anything until about 2:30PM (1/2 of a lunchmeat and cheese tortilla rollup). Left to go to a basketball game. On the way to the game, I started feeling weird. My heart started palpitating and I was feeling dizzy. My husband and I decided to go look at new phones. I drove to the store and we walked in. I was feeling really really weird still, lightheaded, dizzy. I made him drive when we left there. We went to another store and I was feeling worse by the minute. I thought if I got out and got some air I would feel better. We no I didn't. We were in the store and I felt like I was going to pass out. I felt like I couldn't breath, my heart was pounding, and I started to tingle all over and had to fight my eyeballs rolling back in my head. I got really scared and had to sit down in the store. I told him I needed to go to the truck but wasn't sure if I would make it. He walked me out and the whole time I kept thinking I was going to pass out. I layed down in the truck and felt a bit better. I started to think maybe it was low blood sugar. We got to the game and I made it in to the bathroom, feeling very dizzy and disoriented still. Got some apple juice and drank it. I started to feel alot better but still not great. I ate part of a piece of pizza (nothing else to eat and needed something in my stomach) and felt horrible. Got the sweats and felt like I was going to throw up. That finally subsided after about 45 minutes. Here I sit, 3 days later still not feeling great. I am still having heart palpitations and feeling weird.
I think alot of it is my anxiety. I have suffered from panic attacks for several years. I haven't had one in a very long time. I was on medication for depression/anxiety but stopped taking it a couple of months ago. I restarted it on Sunday hoping it will alleviate my anxiety symptoms. It has helped a little bit but I know it takes time to get into my system. My anxiety started last week when my purse was stolen ( I got it back but am missing some things)
I also think I may have been experiencing low blood sugar the day I almost passed out. I stayed home from work yesterday and didn't have a problem until my family got home. Then I had one episode of feeling panicked but it quickly subsided.
So what do you all think? Do you think I am right? I am going to make an appt with my PCP and discuss this with her. Maybe have my bloodwork done too. I got really scared that day that I was gonna get hauled away in an ambulance. Seriously. It scared the crap outta me.
Hugs to you all,
Lori
Topic: RE: Hi Friends.....Exercise Post Reborn???
Hi long lost sister! It's good to hear from you!!
I am glad I started something here. We all kinda just feel to the wayside and no body was posting anymore. I missed everyone so much!
I have been trying hard to keep my promise to myself to do better. Eating better and staying away from the carbs. Trying to drink more water.
Here is my goals:
1. Lose 6 lbs so I can be at my goal by Feb. 23rd ( I have lost 8 lbs in the last week)
2. Get back to exercising 3 times a week
3. Get my protein back up to what it SHOULD be...
4. Drink my water
5. Take better care of myself...(more on that in a separate post)
Thanks for posting this! I think we all needed some new motivation!
