Hi Tammy! Sounds like you had a full weekend even though you didn't have an agenda! It always seems to work that way with us too. Something always comes up. We had to make a trip down for district fastpitch on Saturday. It was about an hour away. I got lots of walking in since we were there all day. I figured it was at least 2 miles. Friday evening my sisters and I went out to see an AC/DC cover band. All female!!! Their name is "Hells Belles" and let me tell you, they ROCKED! I was the designated driver so I really enjoyed the show. My sisters did too but they were a little tipsy and having a little too much fun! I enjoyed watching them dancing and flirting. It was quite funny being sober! And I noticed a few of the older guys checking me out! I felt so good about myself! It was great!!! Of course I didn't really make them aware that I knew they were looking at me. I avoided eye contact because the old fat girl in me came out. I am just not ready to look men in the eye for fear of rejection I guess. I am happily married so it's probably a good thing! Don't want to give them the wrong idea! So yeah, I have some other news I am gonna post seperately. I am very excited about it! I bet you can guess.... Have a great Monday and CONGRATS on staying below 190!!!! Whoo Hoo! Love ya girl, Lori

Lori, Good for you that you had the courage & more importantly the Self Confidence to approach him.... That's wonderful. Sorry to hear he's already seeing someone. You never know, though, maybe deep down he's got feelings for you that he was unaware of until you brought it up. You may have opened a new door. At any rate, you have a wonderful friend. That was so sweet of him to call you on Wednesday to see how you were doing. Great friendships are hard to find. I know you would rather it turned out the other way, but like Lori said.... you may have opened the door to the new you. Don't give up, there's an awesome man out there for you. When you least expect it, he'll be standing in front of you. Great job on your weight loss... You'll be under 200 before you know it.... Funny with the batwings.... I joke about mine all the time... Maybe some day I'll have the courage to get rid of them... Just seems so darn painful. Who knows Take care Tammy

Happy Monday to all........... Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Mine was good. Worked some OT on Saturday, did some grocery shopping on Sunday & helped my daughter sort through old clothes & change her room around... It was nice to not really have an agenda. No exercise for me on Saturday, but I did walk a really fast mile in the rain with my husband to get coffee yesterday morning. The weather has been sooo darn chilly & rainy here lately. It was only 35 degrees this morning.. BRRRRRRR.... We're supposed to warm back up to the higher 70's this week. Can't wait. Didn't walk today, trying to get my work done as my girls have a track meet this afternoon. Plus the weather sucks & it's my time of the month so feeling lazy.... Ok not an excuse ................ I'm gonna post a new June exercise challenge to try & get everyone as motivated as they were for March..... watch for it ok? My scale yesterday was 187 ... today 189 (teeter totter teeter totter)...hey i'm staying under 190...WOOOO HOOOOO. Hope you all have a great day............ love you all Tammy 291/284/189/145

Sheree.... WOOOO HOOOOO .................... I'm so stinkin excited for you. Recently, we went to six flags & just wait until you get in that seat & feel the anxiety (of the bar not closing all the way) for just a second....then realizing YOU NO LONGER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT What a great feeling.... Toni, Like so many of us said & have had this said to us... The first step to facing the problem is admitting you have one. Great job on the journaling. Keep reminding yourself throughout the day that you will succeed & beat this inner demon ... Remember, none of us want to be a weight loss surgery failure. Keep telling yourself that you will not allow this to happen to you. You may want to get some sugar free cookies or healthier snacks to have around. THROW AWAY THE EVIL SUGAR FILLED SWEETS.... they are doing you no good being accessible. Keep posting on here...we're all here to help you. If you want...do a daily post of what you ate.... You may find others will find that helpful as well.... Also, try to attend a support group....there is unbelievable support & suggestions there. Keep your chin up, we will fight this together. Hey Donna, So nice to see you.... Glad to hear you're doing ok. Size 16 dress GOOD FOR YOU. Of course I can't remember what my goal for May was, but I think it was to get under 190... I've been holding steady between 187 & 189 so I think I'm there. I know I wanted to exercise more, but man oh man.....LIFE really got in the way this month. I'm looking into my goals for June now... I'm gonna put out a new June exercise challenge as it seems the post is dwindling. Hopefully, everyone will get motivated again. As you know, discipline & consistency is key & we've all been slipping somewhat. I'll post a new message on that. I have felt the urge to eat more often, but I've been stopping myself & asking if I'm really hungry. Usually, I grab a drink instead & that keeps me on track. It does seem when I do walk at least 3 miles in the morning I am more hungry throughout the day. I just got some more cheese to munch on. Gotta get some more protein drinks. I told them at the OH conference that they need to come out with a cook book. I think they're looking into that for next year. Well, gotta post the exercise post for the weekend & today.... Today is my sons 8th birthday!!! And were going to Disneyland!! Im going to ride all of the rides!! I cant't believe it! This was one of my goals to be able to ride the rides! And not worry if I can even fit on them! My boys are so excited for me to go on the rides with them instead of jus****ching them go! I try to go to bed early to avoid the night time snacking. Or worse, I've taken to skipping dinner, because I'm tired and not hungry. I find, if I'm really tired, and just can't bring myself to eat, I'll do a profect protien. Torrey (281/194/160)

Hi Carolyn I struggle everynite before going to bed!! Thats when the head hunger sets in for me! I try to keep snacks that are good for me like pretzels, protien bars with low calaries and low sugar. etc. For some reason I love the crunchy stuff and carbs!! I work very hard with these issues. Its hard for me as well.I think I would have lost more by now, but still over all Im doing great. And I do walk,walk, walk.!!! I try to get all my water in daily as well. You are not alone!!
