That is so cool. I hit it a few weeks back and then up again I have been 2 lbs away for a month. I have not been working hard to get it off though. I will in a few weeks I have been concentrating on the race and running. It must feel so good. I will do it also. I would like to lose 15 to 20 more and that is it. Then maintain. Congrats to you. Maybe I will get a card also next month.

Thanks Lori!!! You are very close too! I had only lost 3 lbs in the last 2 months so this was a blessing to me! I had a really hard time with the no loss but I was definitely losing inches. I went from a 14 to a 10-12 in that two months! I think as we get closer to our year out we have a bit of a slow down in our losses. I have seen posts all over this board regarding that very thing. We feel like we are eating too much, bad things, not enough, what ever... feeling like we are doing everything wrong. But I believe we are completely normal!

Hi Carolyn,
I think it sounds like you are doing pretty good.
However, if I am hungry before I go to bed I will have 2 teaspoons of peanutbutter. It really helps with the munchie feeling and stays with me longer then chips or pop corn. I have tried pop corn, but I eat way too much of it, so I will go for the peanutbutter right off the spoon, no crackers or anything and it is quick and easy.
Hope this helps.

Lori,
How exciting!! I am almost to onederland. Just 2.5 pounds to go to be under 200 pounds. I am only 9 pounds away from the century club. Oh, this slow moving scale is getting to me these days, but I will make it too.
Congrats to you on a great accomplishment! I am very proud of you!!!!! "jump:

Hi Tammy,
Thanks so much for your words of encouragment and kindness. I never thought that so many people would be so full of great advice and concern for me, but this forum is the best. I know that I will always be cheered up and on whenever something negetive happens by all the wonderful folks on this site.
I have decided not to give up and to keep my eyes open for other oportunities for dating. I have never asked a guy out before and now that I've done it once, I believe I will do better next time.
Although the batwings are a tremendous area of concern for me, I must admit that children have a wonderful way of helping us to see the funny things in life. It was a real interesting way of making fun of the least favorite part of my body at this point. My batwings bother me more then my abdomen and floppy boobs at this point. But that little guy got such pleasure by my not making a big deal of what I least like about myself these days that I couldn't help but enjoy his new "play toy" too! I know now to not take such things as negetives in life. What one considers ugly, someone else finds joy in!!
Talk to you soon,
Lori

Hi Lori,
Thanks so much for your encouragement. You are one of the best people at helping others get out of "blue funks" and thinking of having a good friend for life is better then tension from asking.
I also hadn't thought of the ego boost I gave him as well. Thanks for putting it that way and I am beginning to feel proud of asking instead of not knowing.
I really appreciate your words of kindness, Lori. You are terrific!!

Carolyn,
I, for one, would NEVER flame you for posting a question like this! We are all in this together and don't need to put each other down for anything.
I find that I feel very snacky in the evenings too. And it's for crunchy stuff. I keep 97% fat free popcorn on hand for those times. We don't keep chips or crackers in the house. I can't have them here because they are too much of a temptation. And my family doesn't complain.
From what you have said, I don't think you are eating bad at all. At least you are trying to stick with high protein choices most of the time. That's good! Make sure you are getting lots of water in too. I find that sometimes I need fluids, not food. I get a hunger inside but it's not really hunger for food. I drink something and it goes away. Maybe try that if you are feeling like eating. You might need fluids instead. Of course this is my own opinion, but I am just trying to help ya out!
Take care,
Lori

I did it! I made it to the Century Club! I weighed in yesterday at 180lbs!!! I couldn't believe it! I am so darn proud of myself! I have officially lost 101lbs! I am still in shock...
I didn't weigh this morning for fear that I would be heavier again. I don't want to know. I won't weigh again until Wednesday morning. That is the day of my 9-month check up with my surgeon. I am hoping to stay below 181 so I still have my 100lb loss. I am gonna work extra hard this week to accomplish that!
I am gonna have hubby take some pics of me all dressed up for my before/after pic. I can't wait to get my century club card! Whoo hoo!
Take care all you lovelies and thanks for all your support! I don't know what I would do without you girls!!
