my other surgery is fine. Im very happy with it! As for the opening, its only a small spot but i dont think its normal either. There is a small stitch sticking out right there too! ill ask him next time i go, but thats not until aug 17th.

Yeah!!! I was so fearing the worse as you weren't doing well the last time we heard from you. As far as a quick way to get here... use this link: http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/08-2005 directly from your address bar. Also, in the new format, at the top right, there's a link "Bookmarks". Click that, click "Add" and in the pop-up fill out the name as you desire and put the link on the second line. I usually use the memory function of my Internet address bar to get here.
Glad to hear from you and so sorry you're still having issues with healing. What does the doctor say about the opening after 3 months? That doesn't sound good/normal to me, but what do I know? How's the first surgery doing?

I am so sorry! i am OK! i have had some problems with my second round of PS with the breast lift. I may have to have another surgery but i wont know unil aug 17, which will be the full 6 months post op we have to wait. I also have alot of stitches poking though and a small part under my breasts that wont heal or close due to a stitch poking though (my thought). my breast is larger on one side and it also is higher and hurts sometimes, but we are hoping it will heal itself. which it has been getting better. i would say that the breast lift/implants is by far the worst thing i have had done. i Dont think its always this way, but i have had alot of problems wiith it. Ive also had a lot of depression from this, i think due to high expectations and such. The huge scars bother me alot from the surgeries but i look great in clothes, and im trying to tell myself that i look better now than i have in years and ill never be "perfect". i have 1 post op pic of my breasts if anyone wants to see. email me privatly. ill be getting more soon. please put OH in the subject line so i wont delete it. I am doing better, my breasts still are having problems. I have to wait until aug 17 for him to check to see of i need more surgery.
I also have alot of stitches poking through the skin and my aerolas are raised a lil but he said they should become more flush as time goes on. One small section of the underneeath breast is still slightly open. it leaks sometimes but not to bad. i think its from a stitch poking through not allowing it to close??
Once again, im so sorry dawn! It mades me feel good to know that you care and notcied i had not been on! Thank you so much for being concerned! i think about all of you guys all the time, i just couldnt get back to you all!! If anyone knows a easier way to get back to this board PLEASE let me know!

Topic: Just found out Im pregnant !!
Hello,
I just found out Im pregnant this past friday. Just wondering if anyone that had surgery Aug 2005 is pregnant or has had a post op baby, and how your pregnancy went?
Also I am fighting anemia, and have been getting iron replacement, but I think now since Im pregnant does anyone know of a more agressive way to get my iron levels up? I will ask my hemotologist when I see him, but just wondered of anyone here knew of anything?

12: As long as I'm between 135-140 I'm okay with the weight flucuations. Don't get me wrong, I'd give anything to be the person that can say they weigh xyz for years, but I've decided that will never be me. I guess I handle my ups and downs, exercise malase, etc. by not beating myself up. If I gain more than I'm comfortable with, I try to be better at following plan and w/i a week I'm usually where I want to be. I just came back from 5 days in Boston - 4 of which were non-stop walking and I really expected to lose weight as food intake was better and exercise A LOT better. Instead I gained!! That ticks me off, but this too shall pass. I think a plus is that I don't allow myself to try and match others' expectations, but my own.
Donna - I hope everyone jumps on board with this -- it would be nice to hear from folks again. I'm still trying to find out if Kim is okay...
