Hi Sue,

Great job keeping off the weight. I have low blood sugar episodes as well - usually because I had too many carbs during the day.

Hi Sue

Congrats on the weight loss. Glad you are doing well

I am doing great myself. My surgery was Aug 1/2005. 7 years ago today

I lost 130, still need to lose more, but so much happier at 250 than I ever was at 380

Hope we see some others posting here. Would love to hear from others

I am on Facebook [email protected] if anyone wants to add me

Take care
Joyce

I know not many people post here, if any at all anymore. Cant believe it will be 7 years on the 23rd that I had surgery. I was a lightweight and had 100 lbs to lose. I lost 95 but am still happy with that being I have also kept it all off. I eat and drink like a "normal" person. Never had any complications except for a few episodes of low blood sugar and ended up in ER a few times. Didn't know what was happening the 1st time.

I hope everyone is doing well.

I had RNY in 2005. I lost 150 lbs but have since gained 50 lbs in the last yr. I am going to start the 5 day pouch test tomorrow. It seems everything I eat causes me to gain wt but I know thats an excuse. I'm eating more than I'm burning. Is my metabolism broke? I don't know but it seems so. I have wondered about the revision but not sure. I also don't want to face my surgery Dr. I feel like a failure with him. My wt is right at 200 & I'm trying to fight back. Time will tell.

 Hello All,
Its been a while since Ive been on this website. I had the micropouch done with Dr. Sapala in 2005. I went from 240 to 140 and have gained 50lbs since then. Ive tried everything to get the weight off but nothing seems to work!
I just wanted to know if any of you have gained weight 6yrs after wls and what have you done to lose the weight. Has anyone had a revision done after gaining 50lbs? Is that even possible?

Please help.

Best,

JT
