Hi Tammy! Busy girl you are! I think we have all been busy bees lately! I walked 40 min on Wednesday, walked 20 min yesterday, and will walk lots this weekend. My daughter has a 2-day basketball tourny this weekend. We get lots of walking going from one gym to the next. So I think that will qualify me for our weekly goal! Take care and remember to make time for YOU! I am seriously working on this myself! Love ya, Lori 281/173/140-150

I, too, consider this my "support group". I think we all feel that way. I am closer to all of you than anyone in the support group I have attended here in WA. I feel like we can tell each other anything and not be judged for it. Glad to see your scale is moving down again! Take care and hugs back atcha! Lori 281/173/140-150

Ok, sorry girls... I thought things were starting to calm down...but who the heck was I fooling What a week. Heck, yesterday was my 10 month surgiversary & I didn't even get on here to post.... JEEZ So, here I am for 2 seconds of free time getting on to say once again...no exercise.... Although, I've been doing alot of running around... Not an excuse Anyway...the scale is playing little games with me still... I was back to 189.5 today... Wi**** would just make up it's mind.... I only exercised 1 time this week.... Pretty much know I won't get any in today. Tomorrow I have a wedding shower to set up & put on with my sister for her son's fiance & Sunday is Fathers day. Although, we are contemplating six flags on Sunday, so I would get alot of walking in. Monday, I'm going to Enchanted Fores****er Safari (the larges****er park in NY) with my daughter & her 6th grade class. Yup, I'm putting on the bathing suit & heading for the water slides...YAHOOOOO ... At any rate, I foresee non-stop running at least through next Wednesday (the last day of school here)...then we will jump into our summer routine... Should be fun... Anyway, everyone else seems to be doing great... Keep it up girls.... We're all in this together...exercise or not.... post post post...it keeps us honest... love you all Tammy 291/284/189.5/surgeons goal 164/mine 145??

Happy 10 month to you too. This week has been a little more than I thought it would be. Wasn't even on here yesterday at all.... The protein is one thing I know I have to boost up. My surgeons office also say 60 grams, however, if you talk to anyone who runs OH they'll tell you at least 100 to 120 grams of protein a day. Obviously, we cannot do that without supplementation. The AchievOne is awesome... you may be able to find it at a store near you... go to this website & put in your zip code skylarhaley.com/Locator/AchievONE.aspx don't forget the http:/www. in front of it. An August get together sounds so much fun, but I don't know if I'll be able to make it this year. I have a nephew getting married on August 5, then I will be in Maryland from the 18th through the 27th as my sister is having WLS on August 15th (my one year...cool eh?) Although, I know she is only a couple hours from from NYC so maybe I could work something out & shoot over there. I totally wouldn't want to miss it. Lets see what kind of responses we get, maybe we can meet outside of the city somewhere. At any rate, I think you're doing awesome.... Love ya Tam

Hey Dawn- I have had an itching to go to Vega$ since forever..LOL I'm glad I asked this question. As for the Muscle Milk- mine is sitting right here on my desk its 9:45 . Its sold at GNC and Vitamin Shoppe. Comes in Vanilla Bean and Breakfast Cocoa...but I love Maple & BS. GNC has a sale on this- and the other muscle milk drink- buy 2 and get one free. I have heard so much about the Achieve One drinks- I wanted something I could purchase locally and not have to order online- so that is why I recommend the Muscle Milk. And they are made with the same ingredients as mothers milk- with all these amino peptides. So its nutritonally very sound- and its made with whole grain rolled oats. 30g protein/ 4 gm sugar/ 300 cals. Better for you than 2 Light & Fit Yogurts. VERY filling. You can find out more at www.cytosport.com Hugs, Donna

Torrey Hi- I hope I am one of the people who helped. Don't feel alone. We all get so wrapped up in our own issues and daily living. It can seem like a struggle- but its a journey and as you see, th scale does move. My own theory is- the longer you have the weight- the harder it is to get rid of it- and dependng where you are carrying it- I have always been apple shaped..Now I dont think my legs are not long enough- LOL- because everyone around me (from my support group) is like 20 lbs from goal- and their legs look great.. So I am thinking that I will probably need PS for my legs & tummy. But I don't worry about that now- I am focused on making every day count..It counts as one step closer - even on the days when I dont workout as intensely as I like. I find if you give yourself little challenges, and focus on that for 2 weeks- you eventually will forget about looking at the scale, and you won't feel so pressured. Just do your best everyday- who could fault you for that? Certainly not me. I'm proud to have you as an August buddy, please keep posting, and consider joining the group- to celebrate our anniversary month. Be proud of who you are and where you are going. Like the song says-" Your book begins today- the rest is still unwritten" Hugs, Donna 325/217/145

OMG!!! DAWN !!! This beats any WOW moment! I am so proud of you! THAT IS AWESOME!! You must have been hootin and hollering all the way down the Canyon and all the way up the wall! I still feel intimidated with things. I want to try an indoor sky diving thing- where you are floating (with an instructor standing by) in a wind tunnel- and know what its like to be free falling- only indoors! GOOD FOR YOU!! Here's my thank you to you all. I'm so greatful to you listening to vents about not losing. And my DH acting like an ass. And *****ing about gas. Etc. No one else would ever understand. Since I never made it to a support group, I rely on you all. Even if I don't post, I read the posts. So a big hug and thank you. My good news is the scale is finally moving again after three weeks of nothing. I only lost 2 lbs in the last 30 days. However, I did lose 7 the month before. Also, I'm wearing able to wear Victoria's Secret. Their sale sucked me in. Sure enough I can wear their clothes now. I didn't order any bras or such, but I did get their bra tops. It's been so long since I've felt so confident about myself. Cheers and happy day to you all, Torrey (281/192/160)
