Hi torrey, i just had the Panni removed, because i only had enough money to choose either the actual implants or the extra for the full tummy tuck. I beleive it was way worth it, I would do it again, the same way.. and spend the extra money for the boobs if i had to do it again...HOWEVER, if i could afford it, i would have gotten both done. (the full tummy and boobs)The panni ISNT as good as the full TT, BUT its sooo worth it either way, it just depends on your money situiation and choices. I would be more than happy if you send me your email addy to email you my before and after pics of the panni, and let you decide. I think you will agree if you had to either have a panni removed or NOTHING, you would get it removed. Good luck! Im here for you if you need me! Love you all! Kim 264/150/135

I had a TT, buttock and back lift, breast lift with implants in Feb 2007. I had a neck lift in May and am going for a revision Sept 6 (for the neck). I am very happy with the results! They removed 7 1/2 pounds of skin during the first procedure and did lipo. The recovery was pretty tough.....but well worth it. I would still do it again. My insurance covered part of the TT based on the amount of weight I lost and the health conplications. I figured I had come too far to not finish what i had started. Best of luck to you.....I am doing amazing.....I am in single digit clothing for the first time in my life (4/5 v.s. 4-5XXXX) Life is awesome and I am very blessed to get this second chance. I don't take a single day for granted. Melannie RNY 8-10-2005 -148 lbs current weight 120-122 and holding

Happy "REbirthday" to everyone!! We've made it through and are so much healthier. Today's mine -- 2 years ago and I was feeling great about the surgery even then. I am so thrilled about it but I would really love plastic surgery! I am in a 8-12 size range but my hernia and excess skin seems to be all in my tummy, with my arms as runner up!! Rant -- what is up with all the shirts with teeny sleeves, what happen to a regular short sleeve, no, those "cap" sleeves are just slips of fabric, they don't even cover up your smallpox immunization site!! -- Rant over. I'm up about 10 pounds from my lowest post op weight but I'm trying not to freak out! I'm trying to get back to the program and I do believe it's just a regular and a womanly fluctuation of weight but I do worry about gaining. I'm going to try to get back to the Board more to see if that helps. Congratulations to all of us 2 Year Winners -- healthy and happy about out decision for WLS!!! Anne 254/161/1??

Happy re-birthday to all of us!! Tomorrow is my 2 year re-birthday. Life is awesome, amazing and something I NEVER thought I would get to experience. I am so blessed!! I have far exceeded the goal I ever thought I would get to. I would have been thrilled with a size 14.....but I made it to a size 4/5.....with no XXXX's. I far exceeded what I ever thought possible. Happy 2 year anniversary all!!

Wow! two years. I think I've settled at my weight. I'd still be happy to loose 20 more lbs. It was a lot easier the first 9 months when I threw everything up. Thanks for taking this journey with me. Cheers, Torrey

Hi Kim, did you just have the panni removed, or a tummy tuck? My panni's gotten so bad all my doctors have written letters of recommendation to get it removed. However, if I keep hearing a panni isn't worth it over on the Plastics board. Most everyone has had an TT or LBL. I'm a little nervous about the recovery time for muscle repair. Cheers, Torrey

Hey Sherry! Well, you seem to be doing well in the whirlwind you're calling your life! My lowest weight was 131 - goal was 135, but I've found my body maintains the weight better at about 140. I haven't been exercising, so even though I've only gained 5 lbs, I've gone from mostly 4 & 6s to 6 & 8s - though yesterday a size 4 skirt fit perfectly. Life for me is fairly calm - gearing up for the school year starting up again in 2 weeks and having to return to work. I've tried to get into the dating scene w/o success - which now that I don't have weight as an excuse as why guys won't go out with me - is okay as I like myself better and don't need a guy liking me to increase my self-esteem. Though 'mostly 20 somethings' can be fun for diversion if not long term. Dawn

It's been a long time, Ladies. I think of you all very often. So much has happened since Christmas. I think that is the last time I logged in. My lowest weight has been 134. I have mostly maintained a weight of 140. I wear size 4 and 6. I have been jogging almost seven days a week since February. However, I have not been able to do so for the past three weeks and have shot up to 150. I know I can get back down as soon as I can start jogging again so I'm not too worried about it. I have been going through a horrible divorce. As you all know, my husband became addicted to pain pills and unfortunatley has not got any better. I would not wish for anyone to go through a divorce and addiction for anything. We also lost my mother in law. My life has been crazy. I started dating again as well as going out every now and then with the girls. The dating world has changed. I get asked out by mostly 20 something year olds, have had my heart broken by my "rebound" and figured out that I cannot drink like I used to do at all...lol!!! Anyway, a lot of changes....how are you all doing? Sherry 5'7" 276\140\124-130

Happy Anniversay EVERYONE! 2 years... wow! I use to read other profiles about people who were 2 years or more out and would just marvel at how far they have come. NOW, I marvel at all of us. I am so pround of everyone who made that giant step. I tell people all the time, it was not the "EASY" way. Mentally and physically it was not easy. To maintain is not easy either but is so worth it. I loved my life at 360 but I love my life more today. Happy Anniversay All. Pam
