Hello all my wondrful August buddies!! I just wanted to thank each and every one of you for all your support through this first year!I have gone from 287lb to 190! Gone off my meds for high bloodpressure,3 for diabetes,and my high colorstial (sp) is normal!! This has been such a wonderful year for me as well. Anyone reading this post who is pre op,like everyone has said, this is the most wonderful gift I could give my self, my life back! I can swim, ride bikes, walk for days etc. and keep up with my wonderful son whos 8. he loves his mom playing with him now and not jus****ching him!! I was lucky and had no problems at all after surgery.I still have 30 more lbs to go and If I dont loose anothr ounce Id be fine with that!! Reading all your posts almost daily has helped me so much to keep on track. Tammy, what can I say!!! Your awsume sweety pie!! Thankyou so much for helping everyone going with excersice! Anyways enough of me babbling on and on!! You all rock!!!!!! sheree

Good Evening to all My Wonderful Friends.... Hope you are all doing wonderful. Yesterday, on my walk, I realized there's a great 3.1 mile walking/jogging path around the golf course here, on Forte Meade... I hit it this morning...took me 1 hr... I went the way where there are ALOT of hills. But it was great... Of course the scale is staying put at 182.5 ..... but that's not a big surprise for me. My sister is doing soooooo well today. I took her measurements pre op when she was in NY & I took them again today. She's lost over 30 inches (of course we measure everything)... She was so happy about that. The pain is almost gone. I made white chili yesterday for her (her's was pureed of course ) & it worked well in her little baby pouch. She stopped the minute she had a sign of being full. She's really learning how to listen to her body. I told her being here sure does remind me of a year ago & it's putting alot of the important things back in my head. Like keeping the protein up etc etc etc.... At any rate, we will be leaving in a few days to go back home. Hopefully, I've gotten her on the right path for success... Take Care everyone.... & Tammy
