Hi Julia, It is amazing the journey we have all been on this past year. I too think that those who treat me differently don't know who I was to begin with. I've not changed much emotionally, except to be even more sure of myself. I have changed physically and that is really hard for even me to deal with at times. I still see the fat girl who was happy with her inside self...so this new person who is constantly changing deals alot with being seen as a flirt and like I'm always going after the guy. However, I've always been friendly with guys (and I think I was with girls too), but I'm totally perceived differently and it is difficult for me to adjust to the treatment due to the new body. I act the same and yet am treated totally different by guys. It's wierd. Oh well, I just wanted you to know that life is full of new experiences and this new journey has proven that to me in abundance. I know that eye contact is very hard for me now with my old friends. However, I don't have trouble meeting new people and keeping eye contact with them. I'm not sure what the deal is with that. Eye contact has always been a major thing for me. Letting go of those who treat us different isn't easy, but we are better off with our true friends then with those who don't respect our new health and body image. I started this journey. I have exceeded all expectations!! I remember thinking...if I could just get to a size 14 or 12 I would be so happy. Little did I know I would lose 138 pounds and be UNDER my goal wearing a size 6. I am so happy and thankful for the tool I have been provided. I am also proud of myself for excercising and making good food choices MOST of the time.

I emailed Skylar Haley a while back asking where I could get Achiev One drinks in Washington. Well they told me that there wasn't a store in WA that sold them. Said I would have to buy online. I told them that I didn't want to spend the $30 dollars and not like the drinks. So, they sent me free samples! I got 2 each of the Hazelnut Creme, Vanilla Nut, and Mocha Java. I would have gotten the Cappaccino (sp?) too but they are on backorder. So, for free, I got 6 bottles of Achiev One to try! How cool is that? I am stoked to try them. They are chillin in the fridge as we speak! I think I will have one for breakfast tomorrow! Just thought I would pass on the info! Lori
