A real before & after

As horrifying as it is, I just came into possession of a photo taken of me 2 weeks before surgery. I have lost about 140 pounds, but still felt like I looked the same. Now, with the photos side by side (bottom of profile), I can see it is not true. I was so scared of cameras, but now I am glad to have this photo. I really can't bear to look at it, but it is great to see that I am making progress, even though I am still enormous by most people's standards. Maybe one day I'll get there.....
