Congrats to you too Eileen! 100lbs!!! Whoo hoo!!! You are doing great! Don't worry about the walking everyday. Just try and do something a couple of days a week. Every little bit helps!!! And it realllly sped up my weightloss when I started doing it more frequently. Even though right now I am at a stall... Take care, Lori

Lori, me too!!! 8 months ago today!! I am down 108 lbs and weighed 181 today. I hope to be in the 170's by the time my hubby comes back in town from his trip (he is a pilot in the air force, and is on his last mission overseas). That is great!! I found that I upped my protein shakes (I use Danon Light n Fit Low Carb, Low Sugar, in the red bottles...2gms of sugar) and I add a scoop of Any Whey protein powder to it. I am now eating/drinking 2 of those a day, and that seems to help my weight loss when I up my protein. I am also drinking more, propel, crystal lite, and I had kidney stones a month ago, so drinking more has helped too. You will get there, and you are doing great!! So far!! My goals 289/181/150ish (doc's goal is 160) Great Job!!!! You look awesome!!! Deborah

Hey, Deborah. I saw that you have had kidney stones. I had my first one last June and I have had at least one and sometimes two every 2-3 months since then. HORRIBLE!! How many have you had and did you just begin to get them since WLS? Sherry 276/189/130-140

Thanks Deborah and congrats to you too! You are doing so great! I don't do protein shakes. My surgeon is against us drinking them. He wants us to get our protein through food. I do pretty good getting around 50-60 grams a day. Some days I probably don't get that much but I try to always eat protein over everything else. You are lookin pretty awesome yourself! Lori

Hey Surgery Twin! 8 months, amazing! I can't believe how far we've come! But I only lost 2.5 lbs last month and no inches! So it's time to re-focus. My trainer is upping the intensity of my work outs, I'm back to a food diary, 2 protein drinks instead of 1 and really trying to increase my water. I also haven't been on the boards as often. It's the one thing that I know keeps me focused! Don't know what I'd do without you! I still have 16 lbs to go to the Century Club and 31 to onederfuls-- but I will make it! Michele T 315/231/175ish

Hey Michelle! Congrats to you too surgery twin! We are all doing so great! I am guilty of not drinking enough fluids too. I just forget! And with my busy schedule, that is not hard to do. I have been trying to drink my decaf herbal tea again. I need to make it into ice tea these days. I tend to want something cold when it's sunny! But I don't like plain water too much. And it seems harder to drink than something flavored. Weird huh? I am very focused on getting down that last 4 lbs to the Century Club. I would like to do it before I go to my work conference in Spokane the first week of May. 99% of those people haven't seen me since last May when I weighed in at 281lbs! It will be fun! We all need to refocus our energies now that we are getting closer and closer to our 1 year out. I believe what we are going through is completely normal at this stage in the game. So I am trying not to worry. Trying is the key word here! Take care and keep it up! Lori

Congrats Lori! I feel your pain on that century club card. I haven't lost anything in a month, and I WAS only 4 lbs away from the century club, right now I'm 5 away. Keep up the great work! Connie 269/174/163 surgeon's goal
