Day 20 Exercise
Hello August Friends....
How we all doing on this Thursday??? Another beautiful day today. Went to JC Penney yesterday & bought the most comfy capri's. I Fit into 14's, but got the 16's cuz they weren't as snug in the thigh area (this has ALWAYS been my problem)... Anyway got them on sale. Buy 1 get the second for $1. Gotta love sales. My sister & I were supposed to measure today but she had some running to do. She is leaving tomorrow for Maryland as she has some photo jobs to do prior to my sisters wedding next week. This wedding is gonna be so much fun. Very excited... ..... This is my sister that is just starting her wls journey. She has her first appointment with her surgeon on May 9th. I'm so excited for her.
Anyway....back on the exercise front. My knee is feeling better today so I got right up & took off this morning.
Here's my stats:
weight: 192.5
Walk 55 minutes
3.0 miles
Have a wonderful day everyone....
Love you all

Look at you skinny girl! I am so happy for you! You are catching up to me!!! YAHOO!!!
Great job on the capris! I LOVE bargains like that!!!
I walked 3 miles again today. That's 3 miles, 3 days in a row! I am so proud of me! I haven't weighed in a couple of days since I was feeling so "fat"! But my rings keep sliding off my fingers today so I am thinking I may have dropped a pound or two. Crossing my fingers!
Gotta run, I am swamped at work and those stinkin auditors are still here!

Hey Girl.....
Awesome job on the 3 miles....yippee I'm proud of you too ............
Don't let your scale dictate how you feel. You're doing so darn good. When was the last time you wore the size you were in???? Here's something I read the other day:
The scale lies. It tells you a number and we think we're good or bad based on that number. It does not take our behavior into consideration, or how little we have been eating or how much we have been exercising. It only knows a number and we make judgements on ourselves based on this. . During the weight loss phase, we need to concentrate on healing first, then retraining our thoughts about food and learn good, new behaviors and making better food choices for the future. To weigh ourselves once in a while may keep us on track, but to weigh all the time is a distraction and can be so discouraging until we get to the maintenance phase.
OK...........I do weigh myself pretty much every day....but try to keep what I wrote above in mind. Remember everything else you've been doing to make yourself healthy.... YOU'RE DOING SOOOOOO GREAT.............
((((HUGS)))) &
Tammy
