How Much Have you Lost in the Last 2 Months?
Hi Everybody,
I have been trying not to complain because I know there are plateaus on this journey. During my seventh month I lost 6 lbs total. Then this month I have lost 2lbs. I have done the up and down thing. Can everyone post what they are losing. I have been running I don't measure myself and I should. I still have 33 lbs to go. I eat pretty good still I stay under 1000 calories per day. Get in my protein and try to do my water.

I have lost 20lbs in the last 2 months. But in the last 16 days, I have only lost 1 measly pound! I had a great 7th month. But now I am not losing again. I am still doing the same things so I know I will lose eventually. I have been guilty of not drinking enough water lately though and find myself with bathroom issues presently I too am staying under 1000 calories a day, I average about 800. So I know this is only temporary.
You are doing great by the way. I can only dream of running. Someday I will.

You're doing great... You're so close to the Century Club... My weight loss slowed down alot starting in December.
December 6 lbs
January 8.5
February 5.5
March 4.5
April 6 lbs so far so looks like I'm having an average month.
My surgeon told me on Monday that this is normal. He said that I should level off around a 110 -120 lb loss which will put me around 166. I'm really comfortable now, so anything more is going to be great. Look at how much you've lost in such a short period of time & Celebrate Your Success thus far. You deserve it.

I know how this feels too..I just realized since my last MD visit- Ive lost 10lbs
just 10lbs..its too soon for the honeymoon to be over..and I just think our
bodies are beginning to adjust to our levels of fitnes- meaning we are burning
off calories based on what our metabolisms have NOW become used to..
I am begining working with a personal trainer this saturday and they are taking my medical insurance as there is a Doctor on the premises when we workout..so I am thinking this will help to fine tune my exercise..as I still have like 85lbs to go..thats almost what some of you all have lost..so my
trip is twice your distance..
Ive noticed Ive been under in the water department the last day or two- and Im reading a book about the ABS Diet- and its chock full of nutritional information, tips on how to avoid obesity and fully illustrated exercise routines to do with handweights..its written by the editor in chief of Mens Fitness.and Im amazed - about the 12 Powerfoods he recommends- one is peanut butter and another is Whey Protein- but not soy isolate whey..
Also he says our musles "build" on our days off from weight training..
its just full of lots of real good information and food substitutes.. pick it up
it couldnt hurt and it also gives recipes in the book.

Hi Diana,
I feel your pain and frustration. This month has been horrible for me. I stalled at 215-218 for 2 1/2 weeks in March and then in April I lost down to 211, then back up to 213 for another 2 weeks. I just weighed in today and lost 2 lbs down to 209, but tomorrow it may be back to 210. It is so frustrating to hit this stall.
I, too, am keeping to my program and have added more excerise to my routine. I just have to believe in myself and keep trudging along...I know that I will one day be under 200, I just want it to be today!
So, for me it is hurry and wait!
Take care and don't loose hope, I haven't yet!

Month 7 I only lost 2.8 lbs for the entire month. Month 8 was better, I lost 10.4. My goal is to be under 200 by Memorial Day...as of Monday, I still had 17 lbs to go....and only 5 weeks to lose it in...it is a goal that I set for myself a while back. I am hoping for a big loss this month...but I guess you never know what your body will do.
At my Curves weigh in on Tuesday evening...their scales showed that I lost 13.75 lbs in a month and 8 inches. When I was at the Dr's earlier this month he told me to increase my calories to at least 1200 due to my exercise. Do you exercise much? Just a thought.
Good luck..it is awesome that you are so close to goal.
